Hi, hoping to get some idea on how to price my art since I'm considering taking commissions again since I got my Huion now and has been a lot easier for my hand.

I was told a few prices, but I feel it's way too low:

Sketches:

Lines:

Busts- Flat: Simple: Shaded:

Waist up shaded:

Full bodies sketched or colored (these two are currently WIPs)

Smaller things:

Prices I was already told was a $1 for sketch and 6-7 for colored busts which I feel is too low especially after doing a colored bust at the $6 price. Another friend suggested 10 for sketches and 25 for colored busts which I feel is fairer, but maybe I should do 20 for colored busts?

Thank you :c

Yeah 1$ is wayyy too low. Your artwork is amazing! I think 10 for sketches is fair, at least 25 for simple shading, at least 45 for shaded, and waist up should add like 20$ imo. This is just my opinion and I'm fairly new to commissions myself, but honestly have confidence in your work because it's beautiful and people will def want this :)

Beautiful art work :) As for prices, I have paid 20-30 for colored busts, some shaded, some simple and for full body with color between 25-60. I did pay 88 for a bust, colored and shaded, for my husbands character. Maybe go thru the art market boards and see how different artists price theirs as ideas for yours.

For me I go by whats in it. I charge 20 for a headshot, 35 for a half body, and 50 for a full body. The prices go up depending on complexity. Those are linearts with flat colour and a simple background.
