I'm surprised when I find people who are younger than me here. I'll be 23 next month. I was 16 when I joined.

I have been coming on and off sporadically ever since I joined back when I was like 15. Lots of things have changed, but at the same time, many things seem to have remained the same. They are improving their artwork drastically over the past few years, I think (very evident in the avatars and the world map). Making the avatars is also extremely different than it use to be. There are many more games, and the list goes on and on.

Also, I'm surprised to know how many adults there are on this website. I love it.

I'm 31 and I totally forgot about this until like 10 minutes ago. Surprised but thankful I was able to log in. This is one heck of a throwback haha

I joined this site almost when it first started. I don't remember how old I was... I just started playing again in October. I figured I would play then stop again but I've been having fun trying to get my beanbag collection back to where it was.

Not only is THIS place still alive.... but Neopets is as well! 😆

i wish i could give you a good rundown of what's been going on in the past years, but i also came back from a 6-year gap (joined + became obsessive in 2013, then vanished post-new year, returned briefly in 2018, and have stayed for lumi this year).

i think a lot of people play on and off. (but it's always the wearables + pets that keep me on when i'm on!) some people get hooked and stay for a while, while some have never left. but the place reminds me of my childhood and also my adulthood because it marked the end of my neo addiction d:
