I'm a bit worried at the moment. If I remember right, Fireside started on the 18th last year? I know it was a Sunday anyway. But we've still got the Friendly Challenger to be released, and for some reason only one of the loot is on the site right now, and I know these errors have delayed the story contest but we haven't had an official announcement about it, unless they plan to open it when the event starts. I'm just worried that all these errors and stuff we've had recently will mean that Fireside will be much shorter because it's not like they can extend it into December. I know it may not be as popular as other holidays but I still like it, and it's the only time of year we can get certain achievements related to the bonfire.

I'm worried too.. I know the staff is working nonstop to fix all the errors, but it seems like every time something gets fixed, something else stops working.

Yes, first some of the dailies wouldn't reset, and then when they did, the quests didn't reset.

I just hope they have a way to make up for lost time if it does start less than 10 days before December, they can probably have less new items to get, but what about the achievements? People won't be happy about having less time to get those.

Where did you find those? I have a page of the latest items in the directory open and they're not there. Did they somehow get wardrobe previews but not appear in the directory for some reason?

I was wondering how that person found those items too, so I took a guess at the "missing" IDs in the item directory. I don't know if it's how it always works, there are huge leaps between IDs sometimes.

Unless they come back and reveal an easier way lol, but that was my guess. of course, they posted that before the I love you items were posted, so the Kitchen Attendant was the last item in the directory at the time and probably just went up 1 ID to see if there was anything there.

So it seems like they were planning to start Fireside at some point in the last few days, at least before Black Friday. That was surprising, I thought it was going to start after Black Friday had started.

Well anyway, unless another error suddenly comes and ruins things, it will be starting tomorrow, and apparently the items will be added some time before it starts. I'll probably say something about them here.

This is my first year participating in Fireside so I'd hate for it to be cut short. Also, if some of those don't make it as items this year, I'm also going to be disappointed. :3 I really like the Pheasant Fire Rock Totem one!

Also, I had a question: When I tossed in my first reign item? It said the bonfire reign blessed me? Is that just a random thing and nothing happens?

It's already been said that it will be extended into next month. And those totem items are available now.

Also, yes, the blessing is just a random thing where you get no items. An orange mark is supposed to appear on your HA's face, but it's not working for everyone.
