I have introduced myself before. I’m just on and off a lot due too life and depression. Trying too grab the reigns and work on it more. But for those who don’t know me, I’m Heather. I like manga, reading, and writing. Pokémon too. I’d like too learn how too use this site and also make some friends who like role playing and writing up pet profiles. Perhaps if you started by sharing what initially attracted you to Subeta, it might help people point you in the right direction

eg. was it the pet art, the human avatar personalisation, you were looking for sites similar to ___?

I wanted too find a more grown up neopets. I think this site has its own identity and uniqueness. I want too try too role play and story writing. I think the pets are pretty too c:

I think we definitely have an older player base (to be honest, you 18+ older request hardly applies, I would say university students are probably the youngest main player group we have)

We haven't suffered from having a company like Viacom owning us (and pushing towards a younger audience), and we do have a lot of Neopets expats, so people here are happy to help out newcomers.

Personally I find the currency here a lot easier to earn, so I could do my pets as I liked within a very short timespan, and add/change them as I pleased without undoing what would have been years of work on Neopets.

Because of our 1 account per player policy, generally you will find our player base is a lot more friendly and we don't really have the culture of trolls/scams/resellers as much here.

99% of quests are profitable (some quests will give you sP profit like Cursed/Wizard, and some you might make a small sP loss or break even, but the items are profitable like Quentin, Library) - I would probably always do Wizard first. The tokens are a little akin to dubloons on Neo, it's probably the main secondary currency excluding CSC (our sort of equivalent to NC). They are very easy to sell for sP if you want points first.

Quests are not the /funnest/ thing on Subeta for me, but it's pretty quick going for you to get some points to do what you want onsite.

Our shop search is the equivalent to Neo SSW, so you don't have to refresh multiple times to get the cheapest item, so sometimes when questing you might even catch a good restock or discounted shop :)
