I can understand why forum titles are a popular achievement reward, but it feels like they are really being overused. Maybe other rewards could also be utilized? Perhaps some new layout themes, or color options for profile pages? I dunno. Perhaps others have better ideas.
Layout themes actually demand a lot of time and energy to make, they're graphically more demanding. So, I can understand why they're not exactly a reward
I miss item rewards I have no interest in forum titles :(
The last time an item was a prize, according to SLodge, was last Lumi. Almost a year ago... I feel like lots of achieves with titles only is a cheap cop out "we haven't had any achieves in a while, let's throw some items together and call it achieve, oops, we have no item to be released as a prize, k, let's do title!" There, no user cannot say there are no new achieves anymore. Is is so hard to save item/items we get released so often as a restockable/anything going into special shops as an achieve prize instead? That would make them a bit more worthwhile. Special skins or layouts feel like too much work for just an achieve prize, so I get it, but an item? Come on. Or, I'd be more interested in titles if we could somehow show our collection. Profile widget? Listed on the profile like other collections? As it is now, on the forums, I can only show one title so it really doesn't matter if I have lots or not.
Disclosure: I have tons of them like 2300 so perhaps each individual Achievement fades into the background to me, and also I think it's all pixels. Perhaps I'm less sensitive to this than most responders. Used to be getting the Achievement itself to show off and add to your total was the reward. There are many old Achievemets with no item reward or title attached on them.
Maybe, instead of giving something else instead of forum titles, forum titles should be more rarely granted. An Achievement that's more like "get tier'sworth of these" would only get one at the end or at strategic tier points, and ones like we got this Morostide only the ones that were harder to get because they were rarer drops or involved dual use items that have a higher initial demand gets one. If only two out of the nine we got yesterday had titles, I bet for dang sure folks would not be all blase about getting them.
I like to collect forum titles, but some items would also be good. Or maybe skins, we were told that there would be some new skins released that weren't from the zapper or Survival, and an achievement may be one of the ways to get one of them.
Some, for players like me, are completely unobtainable for various reasons and before someone says "PLAY MORE," think about what you're saying. I'm an adult player on Subeta, I have a life outside of this.
Therefore, I'm all for alternatives.

I'd definitely like to see more item rewards.
I, personally, don't care much for forum titles (I hardly ever change mine), so I wouldn't mind seeing less of them. But I also know that other people really value them, so I don't want to see them go away or anything.

I like hoarding forum titles, but I don't use all that many in the grand scheme of things. I definitely wouldn't mind seeing more items used as achievement rewards, but personally, I don't mind not getting a prize at all with an achievement either
Honesty, I don’t really care for forum titles (I rarely change mine) but I’m not super keen on item rewards. You can only get one, which sucks if the prize is yet another multi use item, a book, or just an item that’s attractive and you’d like to have more than one copy for whatever purpose.
Skins, though? Absolutely.
I'm a big achievement hound and I appreciate them even when there's no reward. But getting extra rewards is better than not getting them so I'm all for that lol.
To be honest, item rewards from achievements can be kind of frustrating though because quite often people want multiples of an item (e.g. if it's a wearable and a food or a weapon and good for a TC or whatever) and limiting them to one per person usually makes those items pretty expensive to buy duplicates of, if it's a difficult achievement.
Forum titles are my favorite reward even though I've already got the one I'll probably always use forever because it's fun to see what they come up with (they're usually clever/punny and they amuse me) and because I realize lots of people are probably still waiting for that one particular title that will fit them perfectly.
i like forum titles but i've only ever used like, 2 lol
I can understand the frustration of achievements being the only way to obtain an item. Currency awards would be neat, though! Tokens, csc, maybe things like subq invites for collecting sets. Even a small reward makes it more worthwhile to people who don't particularly care about achievements for achievements' sake.

In some tiered achievements, the item reward can be given several times at different tiers, it doesn't have to be given only once
I do agree that not every achievement needs a reward. The number going up is a reward too.
However I also think existing items can be used to rewards! Like the battle quest achievements for instance, you get a Potion of Loyalty for doing those. Those are a perfect item reward and didn’t require a whole new item. I think consumable items (food/books/boosters) would do especially well as item rewards.
First, we need some new achievements to begin with and no "feed/read/have in wardrobe/have in collection" but a new original ones with new tasks..
Second, yeah we need new rewards, I'm using the same title for many years now and I'm not planning to change it.
Any ideas? Participating in site events? Gaming? (I can't think of any new gaming achs, but maybe someone else can...) Reaching level 30 in bqs?
I personally don't even care about like 99% of the titles that get released. And I only ever use like 2-3 out of all the titles I have!
EDIT: My suggestion for prize alternatives would be...
new site themes!
I've used the Masquarade one for as long as I can remember
I have many ideas lol
We can start with finishing the battling achievements and giving every challenger it's spotlight with a unique achievements, then adding some meta achievements with themes, like beat all the NPCs, beat all the nightmares etc.
Spend X holiday currency
play Ruffie Ruffle X times / Find the newest species
Lose a strike at the bathhouse
Spend X sp at the Hustler
Spend X sp at the Antique shop
Visit every map
Piss off Maleria and make her kick you out of the BHH
Try to adopt a pet when you don't have free slots
finish a day without finding all Shinwa's bracelet pieces and let her live without her bracelet.
Burn a minion at the zapper / lose an item
And then of course more holiday and sites events.
There are many things to explore with the achievements, it's just to be more creative about them.
I think that existing items would be a good idea to use as achievement prizes instead of forum titles. I agree that there are so many titles now that they are kind of losing their sparkle.
Some ideas:
I think just too many achievements are getting titles and instead of giving the titles we should give... NOTHING! Honestly not every level of an achievement or every one released needs to have a prize of any kind. It obviously diminishes the value. You're spoiling us too much! But that's just my input <3
I don't like the item ones if the achievement is the only way to obtain that item, because if the item has any kind of multi use then that just skyrockets the price, more so if it's a use that gets consumed such as food, book or stat booster. I wouldn't mind seeing some of the more rare or otherwise hard to obtain from other sources items being handed out as achievement prizes to put them back in the item pool, though.
I also agree that we need more actual achievements like what suggested, and I like the idea of the prizes being holiday currency or the like especially if it's related to said holiday (masq achievements handing out masq currency, for example).
