I think i've got speed and defence where I'd like them to be but how much should I be putting in strength vs health now? Any advice would be appreciated please and thank you.

I'm not capped, so take this with a grain of salt... Choco's final build is slated to be: Str: 10k HP: 10k Def: 8k Spd: 7k

7k speed will be enough to beat out every opponent so far. I'm only going up to 10k health simply because the best healers (100%) will only go up to 10k.

My next build I'll probably do health much higher, with strength still falling between 9-10k.

Ultimately the final build really doesn't matter, do whatever.

I think the bigger problem your going to run into is that you still have 7K stats to go and you have cut yourself off tomes if you don't want your DEF/SPD higher.

Either way your most efficient way to hit the cap would still be to tome up to the cap, and reshape with tomes and leeches, so you have plenty of time to obsess over it like the rest of us did :P

For reference what I did: Level: 7272 Health: 13000 / 13000 Strength: 7495 Defense: 7500 Speed: 7001 Intelligence: 10301 AP: 643 Tier: 13 (max!)

thanks :) Okay I get what you're saying :) I'm a cheap skate so I've not used tomes for awhile LOL. It's been hard to really find much reason to keep going, you know? It doesn't seem much point to rush. Since he can do battles so much easier than my other pets.

Take your time. Capping is mostly for bragging rights anyway. You're able to beat all opponents in T13. It's only HST hunting that benefits from having a capped pet. Final build doesn't matter unless you do something really extreme like 15k speed. My capped pet's stats

Health: 11000 / 11000 Strength: 10000 Defense: 5748 Speed: 8251 Intelligence: 4976 AP: 311

He does just fine with everything, even with the low Intel. However, the more scrolls you can equip, the better off you will be

Are you happy with where your intel is though? Tomes are also the cheapest intel boosters.

pretty much. I have 8 void scrolls, 3 shrieks, 2 smashers, Sancturia Exodin, Skelly, Unstable Fairy & Perilous Whirlpool attached now. Normally I use exploding first with my helemet to block freezers. Then the shrieks, voids and smashers. I haven't had too much battling problems since i added the scrolls. Though I have thought of selling the fairy scroll...

What do you think is a reasonable intel level in your opinion? I am near 6000 and have enough to beat what I need.

I used to be content with what I had, and thought I probably overshot the reasonable level by a wide margain, but then I look at what Insane's pet can do to the hydra and other war bosses, and I want more int still.

I think ultimately it doesn't matter how much you have as long as your over 2-3 K, but Alex has shown that you can still get noticable differences with more int. But we also have voids and freezing scrolls to fill that AP. And each additional freezing scroll costs between 300-400mil when you count the AP costs.

Yea i think the real benefit would be for bosses and HST.

I guess it is the balance of looking at the cost battle prizes w the cost of intel increase and pet scrolls

Just gonna go ahead and point out that it's not just about Intel, it's also about having the right scrolls. A pet with 6k+ intel will still struggle with mediocre scrolls
