So there is a + button to add bookmark tabs down the side, but i made one I now don't want cluttering up my tab list - but there does not seem to be a - button or any way to actually remove it - can anyone explain how do this to please.

yes, you have to use the bookmarks page (personal > dashboard > bookmarks)
