I read the battle guide for him but it did not really help me out too much. Can someone tell me what I need in terms of which weapons? My pet stats are: Level: 695 Health: 1039 / 1039 Strength: 1035 Defense: 1044 Speed: 1043 Tier 7 I really am not good at battling but I would like to beat him once for the achievement. I have around 100 mill sp to spend on weapons. The weapons I have now are: Hunters Ring of Stars Reviver of the Lion Malevolent Grenade Phoenix Quill Flintlock Sword Recycle Blaster Shards of Space and Time(tried this but it did not freeze for me at all) Am I missing something? Shinigami Bloodied Sawed Off Double Barrel Shotgun with Machete Gorgun

I know you said the guide didn't help much, but let's take another look at it. The major icons he can attack you with are dark and fire. The best scrolls for blocking those icons are Fatal Fire Scroll or Cobalt Eternal Scroll. That will give you a lot of the defense you need to survive the battle so I would pick up a few of either of those.

For your set I would use: The Shards of Space and Time averages a small chance at freezing, so it may take a number of turns before you see a freeze. When combined with the Frost Thorn (Genetech Combo: Bladed Throwing Feathers + Mystical Icicle), they will have a higher chance at freezing.

I could not have the Gorgun and the Shards of space and time together in the same set so I switched the Gorgun for the Replica Minotaur Knocker. I keep either losing or tying with him but I can not seem to beat him :( Any other weapons you would recommend to replace the Replica Minotaur Knocker? I have some CSC to sell so I might be able to spend another 100 mill because I just spent 75 mill on the Knocker. I kept seeing that one recommended for tier 7 so I figured I would try it out but it did not seem to do much for him. I am so terrible at this lol.

I'm sorry, I didn't realize the Shards of Space and Time would also take up the freezer slot. Make one more switch and swap out the Shards of Space and Time for the Gorgun. The Gorgun is a 100% freezer so it will be more useful.

Turn 1: Gorgun + UltimaPlus Tag + Fatal Fire or Cobalt Eternal Scroll Turn 2: Recycle Blaster + Malevolent Grenade + Fatal Fire Scroll Turn 3: Frost Thorn + Replica Minotaur Knocker + Fatal Fire or Cobalt Eternal Scroll

Then repeat turn three unless your HP gets low, in which case, use your Reviver of the Lion or Phoenix Quill.

Do you have any infinite use scrolls for when your Fatal Fire and Cobalt Eternal Scrolls run out? Singed Stuffing or Divine Denizhen Scroll (ingredients) are good for this.

A side note: you really don't need to spend too much on battling until you get into the later tiers (10+) so don't feel that you need to keep dropping a ton of cash until something works. You'll get there!

You can use a scroll more than once? After I use them once they disappear. I do have the Singed stuffing scroll so I will try with that one and then go for the other one if it does not work. I can not thank you enough for all your help!!

Some scrolls like the Fatal Fire and Cobalt Eternal are once per battle, but you can equip more than one of them. Other scrolls like Singed Stuffing or Divine Denizhen Scroll are infinite use so you can use them for the rest of the battle once the others run out :D

Yeah for some reason I thought I could only have 2 scrolls at a time,lol. I really need to get into battling more. I find it a bit overwhelming though. And your scrolls are limited by your pet's AP (their intelligence divided by 16). Your pet has 135 AP so you can equip quite a few scrolls!
