TOT links seem to be entirely loading in same page, instead of opening the small "pop-up" window - like when we get floating pumpkins....

This is different from all events we've had this year, and past Morostide events as well... Not sure if this is the intent this year or not, but posting here in case it's a bug.

The ToT link is working correctly, but is still using the existing system.

I have no idea if it will be updated, but it looks like they need a way to integrate hexes, and I'm not sure how complicated that is with the new system.

so this new system loads the TOT on the same page instead of displaying the drop-down pop-up? I'm not sure I recall this from past events.

The new system (drop-down popup) is for Survival and Masq this year. It hasn't made its way to ToT, and what you're seeing is what it was with some changes like the HA addition (of the user you're ToTing with).

From the looks of it, the popup will have to accommodate the HA as well in addition to your hex. That's going to take some space.

Ah I see... It feels like it's been around for much longer than this year alone... that's how comfortable I've been with it, I guess

Getting an error when I try to trick or treat Whale

You'll need to refresh the pages to get new links, since they expire after a certain period of time. That part is intentional.

Yes, it's still showing the error even after I've refreshed a few times.

I guess it's probably cache issues in that case, especially if you're grabbing them from a forum post. If you're trying to trick or treat with your friends, one thing you could do is add the notepad widget to your sidebar and put their tot codes in there, and it might work better for refreshing to get new links. The forums tend to have pretty long caches on posts and things like that.

I cleared my cache but the link through the forum post still shows the error. Thanks for the advice though!

Clearing your own cache probably won't help that much since it's cached by Subeta's servers too, not just your browser. But yeah, that's just a workaround you can use in the meantime since I don't know if this is something that they would be able to fix without changing how the forums are cached and everything.

The other solution would be to use the random ToT link, but I know that's not as fun if you want to do it with your friends and stuff.
