an Archaeology Room. (The writings and artifacts from the Blake Steele plot)

Perhaps ‘findings/diggings’ from Omen Island war.

Or ‘discoveries’ from the first Pandemic.

I think it would be nice to expand the museum with things that have happen in Subeta’s past.

Would be nice to see the old art work.

I like the idea of having a museum where we can view all this stuff.

But the museum in Delphi is specifically meant to be an art museum, so IDK if all of this would really fit there.

It might be cool if we could turn one of the currently unclickable buildings in Centropolis into a museum for this sort of stuff. But if that would be too much work to have new art or another new map, then it would at least be nice to have all of the old plot/event info available to read about in the Subetapedia or something. I know that has at least been suggested before.

This sounds more like an 'expand Subetapedia' thing instead of an 'art museum' thing to me.

Delphi can have the art museum, but OP is onto something here. I'd absolutely be down for a brand new Museum of Subeta History! With its own little souvenir shop!

iirc, staff were interested in adding recaps & links to old plots, so having a history museum to go with the artsy one would be a really cool way of doing it! Plus, it gives the creative minds of Subeta an entire new canvas to work with in terms of lore. Or, more specifically, the little bits'n'bobs that got lost along the way. Like the Blackmoon War, or the whole Maleria possession plot that happened like... 15-16 years ago now and I cannot for the life of me remember what happened during it.

Also - this could be a very good area to display historic-themed things that are not necessarily plot-related (like suits of armor, coats of arms, old Atebus tech, archeological evidence of the first domestications of certain subeta pet species, etc.) without having to build up and code a whole new event (tho I would still give an arm and a leg for a renfaire on Subeta that potentially spans all of the races/Subeta continents).

I think there needs to be some way to get that art from plots, etc. back on site. So many beautiful pieces! And now they are...probably not gone but not viewable to the regular user.

And the Saheric alphabet that so much work went into. It would be great to have that used for a puzzle or at least on displau as art.

I like the suggestion of there being a history museum, it doesn't even have to have a visible interior or anything, it can just have the options to view things from the past, like what images of pets or characters or items used to look like, and information about past plots, and maybe even some of the puzzles and games from those plots, if they're not planned to be added to the games page but people still want to experience them they could be available to play but to not give out rewards.

But it would take a lot of work, and there are so many other things they want to focus on at the moment, so I don't see it happening anytime soon.

This would be so cool. I loved the Old Wizard time travel thing and getting to see all of the old art.

sounds like this is essentially what they want the subetapedia to be, it's just that its actually a pretty massive undertaking that will probably never actually get completed.

The Subetapedia serves as a good source for current holiday, pet and NPC info. A historical museum would have a summary of the old plots with the art that accompanied it, and plenty of room for more non-plot additions. It'd be a good way to draw a line between old/new info while keeping the old art somewhere visible. It's a shame that so much art from plots isn't easily accessible by users. A section with old plot challenger images would be amazing!

Alternatively, add a Subeta History Archive (Subetapedia but with OldStuff [sup]TM[/sup]) which can have all the good old plot things without the need to add a museum interface, or a souvenir shop.

tl;dr - instead of slapping it all into the Subetapedia, I'd like to draw a difference between the old plot stuff and relevant holiday/pet/NPC info. If a museum is too much work, have the Subetapedia alongside a Subeta History Archive that lists old plots and such. Start with the existing things first - old plots, saheric cipher, Merana, Pirates vs. Islanders plots, first Survival, old chancellors, etc. After that, well... Go wild. Subeta's lore is scattered to heck, might as well try to have the important bits of old plots in one place. It's fun to read up on if you want to make a Subeta-based character, and I think it would help to have a somewhat clearer timeline for many of these events.
