Chrome OS and Browser.

A user can get the "you can only use 8 weapons' or "you must have two weapons" error if they click the Start Battle button too soon. "Too soon" prior today meant looking at my browser's spinny wheel up there in the UL of the tab.

However, it has started to do one spinny wheel, then stops so it looks like it's safe to Start Battle, and then starts doing the spinny wheel thingy all over again which means I get multiple "you're too dumb to make a battleset" errors in a row.

I now wait for awhile before starting a new battle. As far as I can tell it works this way intentionally.

Gotcha! Just let me know, mostly for curiosity sake if nothing else, when you get the chance. :)

I just blasted through all the Battle Quests and it is hard to force the error because the site is handling the whole battle process much faster. I did get it twice. and now clicking on the Go To Battle button does work. It now takes you to the battle instead of an endless chain of error messages.

It looks fixed.
