welcome to the second contest i'm hosting as the guest kantests host! this weeks' theme is coffeehouse.
anyone can enter, not just members of kantests, though if you like ha contests i recommend joining!
as before, be sure to check out the prize section -- i'm giving away commission slots!
this contest is all about your favourite coffeehouse drink. if you're not a fan of coffee, that's fine -- anything else served at a cafe, like tea, hot chocolate, or lemonade is game too! i'm looking for avatars based off the drinks themselves: serve up some fashion that you feel represents your favourite flavours.
here's a few requirements:
- your avatar must be themed after a cafe drink, like i said up there. anything is fair game as long as you can justify ordering it at a cafe, including seasonal drinks, non-coffee drinks, or drinks that don't exist in real life and you just made up.
- your avatar must have a background like they are at a cafe, though feel free to get creative with what that looks like.
- i will judge based on aesthetics as well as adherence to theme.
- no body horror. blood/bruising/weapons are fine, just please no guts or body parts where they shouldn't be. just a matter of what i can personally stomach. also, no zombie skins please, even the tame ones.

My entry is very simple, but I'm very happy with it In my city there are no coffee or tea houses :( not even a Starbucks However I love to brew my morning coffee at home, and my ideal coffee place would have tons of flavors to chose from, and lots of comfortable pillows and chairs so I could relax after class!!

Private Outfit i decided to go for a matcha latte/matcha frappuccino! the starbucks i used to go to all the time before school was right across the street from an art college, so i was thinking of that with the background. nothing like something hot and sweet to make you less miserable after getting rained on before 8AM!

when i tried it, it was the day before they were gonna stop selling them, so i got it on a whim not knowing it had chocolate (migraine trigger! oops) or that the syrup was strawberry (allergic! double oops). it was super saccharine too, but despite all this, i don't remember it being that bad? really messed my head up though ;u;
so i made a too-sweet vampire lolita taking a couple pics before their meet up ^^☥☥☥

My order would usually be something green tea based but as that's already been done, I'm going to go for a London Smog, which is an earl grey latte (known as a London Fog) with a shot of espresso in it. It's surprisingly good too, to all those who just read that description and gagged a little, I implore you to try it! If you've ever had a dirty chai latte, which is a chai latte with a shot of espresso in it, it's very similar but with fruiter and more botanical tea notes as opposed to spice.

I based my HA off my favorite coffee at the moment which is the vanilla bean freeze from Dutch Bros.
She's a sakura green tea milkshake waiting for her friends to finish with their drink orders inside the coffeeshop and follow her through to the gardens so they can find a nice place to sit.

Lavender tea brews purple but when lemon is added it turns pink. So I used gold eyes to represent lemon and pink flowers for the color change. Sometimes I get lavender tea when I visit the buddhist temple (served with almond cookies)!
Green tea latte time! I usually snag raspberry latte but matcha is a big ol weakness of mine.
