It's 1st September 2019, Luminaire is coming up in three months. Time to get your Suggestions for this Holiday in now. This will give staff, programmers, NPC Melody, NPC Dungarde, and artists time to do the things before the event starts.

They're both in the can so any more Suggestions here probably will not be implemented this year

Non-seasonal indoor fireplace backdrop

We got this last year, which is cute.

But I would really love a more generic/multi-purpose indoor fireplace to make some cozy fall or winter HAs with. I think the only ones sort of like this so far have been CWs.

Why not making items that go with and ?

Since I've been looking at some heart-meltingly cute Japanese sweets lately, I would like to see...

• strawberry santas (!!!)
• snowman marshmallows or breadpuffs
• strawberry cream cake (which is apparently synonymous with christmas cake in japan)
• cute gingerbread cookies -- traditional or shaped like NPCs/pets, or even made by the NPCs according to their interests (e.g. quentin would make ghosts/gravestones, saggi would probably make a corporate gingerbread skyscraper instead of a house haha)

I also wouldn't mind seeing recolors of last year's or additional pieces to complete the baker's outfit. It's so cute.

There's an isomalt snowman that is one of the pictures that comes up with 's strawberry snowman link that's pretty darn cute too.

More mince pies and Christmas/Luminaire pudding.

I did a quick search and found only one mince pie in Subeta, but also only one mince pie in RL really. They get different sizes and some are all-fruit but they look pretty much the same. You may know more than me how to look for them though. Can you give some examples so staff will know what you are talking about? The only thing I can think of is like an Ikumoradekanox mixed fruit mince pie and it would look weird and spacey because it's from Atebus and of course anything from the Iku tree would be weird even if you tried to make it look ordinary for Iku-reasons. Maybe one from NPC Ujin's looking like a floating market boat? I dunno.

On Subeta there's only one pudding that's the British kind, the others I see are flans, blancmanges or modified food starch custards. There's a surprising array of Brit-pudding shapes, and they have different topping/accompaniments. I found a recipe for figgy pudding, like in the carol it has suet in it (looked that up too...ick?). These could be a lot of fun. Do you have any favorites?

Some wintery things -Paper snowflakes (there is a book about them but no singular snowflakes as I can find) -Nutcracker dolls (we seem to have a outfit but I could not find a toy or minion or something) -Nostalgic christmas movies (tributes or made up, make them VHS tapes for extra nostalgia) -(handwritten) christmas dinner menu's/recipe cards (classic christmas dinner, vegatarian christmas dinner, whatever else you can come up with or maybe subeta lands based) -Wool tartan skirts, we have but I would love something alike without the bag and belt xXxX -Clothing that's made of tinsels xXxXxX -Christmas cocktails -Tofurkey -Board games -An igloo

Heck I want real (eatable!) snowflakes.
The tinsel thingies are fun to think about wearing on a HA. Many of the cocktails are duplicates ( I don't think they thought you'd actually read through all fifty) but I can totally see NPC Melody offering up some warm drinks.

I'm from the UK, and for some reason I've never even thought about mince pies on Subeta until you brought it up. It would be a great idea to have more items relating to them, maybe even a minion based on them, and items to do with those minions?

Seconding these ideas! Since we've gotten books and backdrops from all the different parts of subeta for Lumi, I think regional cookies would be SO CUTE and fitting! Adding to the baker's outfit would be cute, too.

Kind of adjacent to your suggestion, we have which is one of my favvvorite minions, and reminds me of those awful vintage gelatins. It would be amazing to have a collection of vintage blob party foods, hahaha for Luminaire. Just googling vintage jello recipes gives such a wealth of ideas.

Like my favorite, this utterly derpy tomato and tuna salad.

That's something I constantly wanted, some matching leggings or stockings.

There's a serious lack of good coniferous tree items/wearables that are not decorated trees. It would be cool to have different kinds, like pine, fir, spruce, cedar, and redwoods. I was thinking they could be similar to this

We did get some trees and twigs items for September 2019's monthly theme, including a nice backdrop.

3 Oct 2019 Someone just bought out all my unreasonably priced Holidays Are Such a Drag Stickers. This sticker isn't all that old. Clearly, there's a demand for fabulousness and more stickers like this need to be made.
