I know that I'm not alone in not receiving (or perhaps rather missing) a banner at the top of a page when you receive the bonus quest buff for the Wizard Quests. I usually only know I had a bonus quest buff because I get the sidebar alert telling me it's expired, but not one saying I received it in the first place. I know the icon pops up on the dashboard side but most times my Events tab is up so I don’t even see the Buffs icon.

Would it be possible to get a sidebar alert when the buff is activated? I believe we receive alerts for most other buffs available (the NPC shop discount, and reduced kissing/dancing/trick-or-treating time.) Having it come up this way, people wouldn't miss it. Thanks for considering!

I often close tabs before they fully load - especially when shopping while questing. Sometimes I even use the right click, close all tabs to the right, like when collecting income. So I often miss seeing REs.

While its nice that the icon shows up in the Buffs section, that's not very noticeable. There's also usually a long delay (at least for me) for the icon showing up. If I haven't yet done my wizard quests for the day, I need every minute of the buff to be able to get my bonus quest.

With all the alerts I already get for the discount buff and activating a Morty Card even though I already know those are happening (And getting a fast pass for event options too), I don't know why the bonus quest buff also has an alert. There has been at least on occasion where I've missed it and not known until I got the alert that says it's ran out (Which also makes the lack of an alert for getting it not make sense). Sometimes I don't look at tabs properly and miss random events, and then I see new items in my inventory or I see the Oracle Quest widget in the sidebar say she needs an item and realise I must have missed one. So I think having an alert for this would be very useful. Maybe the buff could also last a bit longer, maybe 20 minutes instead of 10, so if people want to do that quest but haven't done any other of those quests yet, they can (Though usually I skip it if I haven't because if I've already done all the quests before getting it that means I get an extra 50 point token).

I can see how it would be useful for some people, but personally, I don't find alerts like this helpful.

If this is implemented, I'd want it to be optional. And I'd like to see similar alert types made optional too. I really don't need an alert every time I get the main shop discount, or activate a Morty Card.

Support for the people who find it helpful, but please let those of us who don't disable these alerts.

I agree that getting alerts for the shop discount and Morty Cards is quite annoying, but I really think an alert for the extra Wizard Quest would be useful, so I agree with your idea about there being an option to decide which events you'd like to get alerts for and which events you wouldn't. Maybe there could be a page with all the things you can get alerts for and each of them have a toggle option that enables and disables alerts for them when selected. I don't know how much work it would take to make one, though.
