Anyone a fan of Chinese Drama?

Lol, I watch Chinese dramas. I’ve been watching Tientsin Mystic on Netflix plus some random ones on various Chinese sites, mostly XianXia or Wuxia ones, with some random Taiwanese/Chinese modern ones thrown in.

Sure do! I'm a major fan of Wuxia. Never heard of XianXia so I might have to take a look into those.

I watched just 1 drama, but I forgot its name o.o I just know they made it in Korea as well. it was period drama and we (fiance and I) really liked the Chinese one which we watched together. The Korean version was more violent though.

I also need to learn more about the genres.... o.o

a bit late to this, but per the name Xianxia is basically a mystical/fantasy version of wuxia. So yeah, standard wuxia but they take place in the godly realm/heavens or have characters or plots that involve the supernatural.

The name XianXia in english translates literally to immortal/god martial arts for lack of a better direct translation.

I've watched a few Taiwanese dramas. I think one of my favorites is Bromance. And, I have a special place in my heart for the old Taiwanese version of Hana Kimi.
