hello i am here to ask for Subeta Goods I Can Hold In My Own Two Hands, like prints, but in a mostly illiterate and stream of consciousness way because i have one (1) brain cell and will forget about this if i wait until i have enough focus to like, use legible sentences.

my hand to god, i have no idea what the cost/benefit business is for physical goods (i know keychains etc get brought up every so often but were shut down for being more expensive than anticipated)

but. what if fulfillment was done through a third party, like redbubble or society6? i'd be down for a phone case with shengui guo's map, or nice prints of some of the wardrobe backgrounds or our battle challengers like these guys

There was a topic that suggested some stickers to be made into IRL stickers. I just bought some (non subeta) stickers from Redbubble for my laptop - They're nice, it might be able to work!

There were also those really adorable charms some years back. I was always sad I wasn't able to get them, but I didn't have disposable income at the time.

Prints, or an artbook w/concept art and such could be really interesting to people! idk if it would be possible to sell a digital artbook or colouring book as a .pdf file, but it might be something to consider. Subeta has some seriously gorgeous art for its HA backgrounds, so I have no doubt that prints would sell.

Various small bits'n'bobs could also work - pins, bookmarks and stickers are all sorta affordable (afaik at least)! If you're more ambitious and the userbase is interested - a playing card deck (like the one from Caliph's tomb!), or some collectable cards for various pet species or Subeta lands.

I would 100% buy a coloring book and/or stuffed animal(s). Those would be my top interest but pins and keychains would also be cool and I would buy one. :) No lie I'd probably also buy some weird challenger like Greasy Joe on a throw pillow through Red Bubble if that was possible too. :D

maybe small plush keychains of different species, or larger plushies like the travel kumos subeta has on their ig page! (i actually never knew about it until chocolate posted that ig link) he looks adorable and i'd love to see other species made into a real life plushie like that, especially a devonti or chai since they have the most potential for it in my opinion <3 <3 though those might be more on the expensive side to produce, but i guess i can dream

I would totally buy a coloring book. The old one or a new one either or. That would be awesome.

I don't know what I would buy since I don't want to my my interests too known in real life since I'm so embarrassed, but if it was subtle enough for people to think it was just an interesting design, I might buy something. I think having things available to buy in real life could help the site to make more money besides Gold Accounts and the Cash Shop, and since they're physical items, people might be more willing to spend their money on them.

I know many moons ago, there were real life Kumos plushies you could get. I, personally, would kill for an Angelic Tigrean plushie...

I can imagine having physical merch that has to be premade (plushies,keychains) could be financially risky. Merch that can be printed on demand like art prints and t-shirts should be a safer thing to start with to measure if people want real merch.

I'd love some real merch. I would personally be interested in stickers, a coloring book, keychains, posters/prints, anything like that! Maybe a mug or backpack, pencil case type stuff? There are a number of products on sites like society6 and redbubble that'd I'd be very interested in purchasing. And a Subeta merch store is something I'd point irl people towards who are looking to get me gifts!

Officially they’ve done merch twice? There was the plushies/ coloring book released years ago, back in 2008/9 and at one point , keshi when she was still a staff artist did some charms you could order. I ordered the charms, not sure about any further merchandise as that’d mostly be up to Keith and staff and how much funding would be necessary to get any merchandise produced. I think stickers, maybe a notebook or coloring book would be cute personally.

I would be sooo on board with merch. There is so much absolutely gorgeous art on this site!
