Hey everyone!!! I technically joined on the 20th (my bday!!) but I'm finally getting around to making an intro post.. I've been nursing a sprained wrist so having something like this to cure my boredom is suuuuuuch a blessing!! It really brings back the nostalgia of neopets and gaia online without the completely tanked economy

My name's Scott, I'm agender, I'm a huge trekkie and xenite, and I'm trying to keep goth alive (undead >:3c) While my wrist is busted for now, once I'm healed I would LOVE to join the art community here! Welcome -- I'm new, too! Hope your wrist heals up quickly. That must be inconvenient as well as painful. I was on NP for years, and quit when it became so commercial; you're right, the economy is much better here. Hope you enjoy it as much as I am!

Neopets was like a HUGE fixation when I was in middle school so I'm feeling rejuvenated having something that captures the same feeling. I definitely get what you mean about the differences! I remember like, never being able to successfully do the battledome fights on NP lmao

I remember crying when I couldn't get a faerie pet. It was a big thing back then, haha!

i agree about the neopets thing! this site brings old memories of that place. i miss the old neopets and my account got frozen just before i joined here actually now that i think about it :') 2015 was the last good year of that site but it was almost my entire childhood (rip my account 2007 - 2015)
