Currently, if you spend a 60 seconds on each quest, it takes 3 hours to do them all (not counting blue or battle)- so my thinking is that if there was an extra token or something we could buy in the cash shop which could consolidate each characters 15 quests into 3 groups of 5 (with the same amount of items as otherwise per quest), it would reduce the time by almost 2 hours.

This way more people will have access to completing all of the daily quests, leading to them having a fuller experience on the site as they'll have more sP to play with and the site itself will also have a little bit of extra revenue coming in too.

What do folk think? Is this an option?

Personally, I don't think it's a good idea. It feels a lot like pay-2-win and it would no doubt screw the game economy up.

Quests are a huge sP-maker and if you're not dawdling and doing 30 things on the side, it takes about an hour to complete them all, including the extra GA ones. It makes sense that quests are dull and grindy to do, otherwise everyone would be doing them. Heck, quest-a-thons are notorious for pumping loads of sP into the system, and you still have people saying that quests by themselves pay out way too much and that quest payout should be nerfed.

Seriously - with a browser addon and that token, I would be able to do all 15 quests for a particular questgiver in under 2 minutes. ._. That just feels unfair.

Absolutely not. The quests are grindy and draining (I'm looking at you, Quentin. 😠) but I don't think involving the Cash Shop will be good. (P2W QoL "improvement" is the reason why gacha games are shortlived. Seeing it on a casual pet site would be mindboggling.)

Also, if we do consider this, it's not even sure if the CSC to sP output is justified for a shortcut questing feature. Like, maybe if you are really obsessed with achievements? It would be the same reaction with the CSC stat boosters. It's there but not necessary. LOL.

which browser add on are you using to speed up questing?

If I'm blasting through them and my internet is being fast, at best I'm down to about 45 seconds per quest but it still really adds up and my internet speed is not consistent sadly. 3 hours daily or even tbh a few times a week is pretty difficult what with life stuff and general distractions.

Even if only one or two of the characters offered consolidated quests and only on certain days of the week maybe- it would be a major boost to getting them in and sP to play with. Pretty wardrobe items aren't cheap, lol.

Also it doesn't have to be a separate extra CSC token or whatever, it could just be another gold account perk. With the 45 extra gold account quests, it already is kinda pay to win, no?

Unless this was EXTREMELY expensive, I don't really support, because for this to be balanced, you'd have to take a chunk of SP out.

I also...don't spend more than an hour on quests.

you average 24 seconds per quest if you're getting 150 quests done in an hour- your internet must be fast! I spend half a minute or so doing each quest waiting for all the pages to load, which is what's adding up I suppose.

Even then, it's kinda flipping the bird to all users that earned those quest achievements without paying for a speed boost. We're supposed to play and gradually earn things, so this kind of feature would cut down on that while earning the site money. Essentially - insert money, make progress faster without having to be here and do things.

The price/payout ratio would be... interesting to balance.

Throwing out a random number and assuming that the suggested feature is a 1-day-only account buff: 2000CSC? I'd rather have a petslot. Or 4 months of GA. 1000CSC? I can buy an angelic potion and still have CSC left over. 500CSC for something you're only going to use when you're really in a bind for time, and you're likely not going to make 1/5 of that amount back unless you get mad lucky with Morty Cards & item rewards. At 250CSC, I feel it would be a price where everyone would want to try it to see what it does. Users can buy CSC from user shops and earn them from other site features, so I can see them prioritizing that instead of spending real money. It does not really guarantee profit for Subeta. Cue CSC going up in price.

If staff want to make questing less dull, I think they'd rather cut the number of quests down a bit and increase payouts. That already happened before - daily quests were 20 for non-GA, 30 for a GA.

Meanwhile, if you want to make sP superquick, want to support the site and you have real money to burn, I think you're better off buying CSC and selling it. CSC is constantly in demand.

@ Kandarhrin The fact that it takes you that long to finish a quest is unfortunately on your internet speed then, not Subeta. :/ Also getting 45 extra quests that you have to do one by one vs. the ability for all GA users on faster internet to do ~135 quests in under 10 minutes? Kind of a big difference.

I was thinking it could be more of a by weekly token tbh, like when buying gold accounts. It could even be an add on perk.

And say it was only eligible to be used two days a week for two characters quests (with quests completed not going towards achievements)- wouldn't that be a pretty good bonus? It could even be random for which characters and which days to make it less abusable. It would make it hella easier to accumulate sP to spend on things too.

Either way, I can see this idea isn't going to be popular so I'm going to stop advocating it.

If it's in the GA, I guess? Though, I'd be mortified if it landed on Quentin and/or Alexander. They are the most RNG NPCs ever and losing the CSC/GA money you paid for over the QoL improvement is just awful. Quentin literally pulls out 50k sP~60k sP items with little to no payouts (other than the amulets), imagine if the quest autocompletes them multiplied by 15, I'd have nightmares for a whole week. I'm no hoarder so, I have literally nothing to gain from Quentin other than do their quests to gamble for an amulet or Morty Cards. If the QoL option was skippable if the worst quest NPCs are on the featured shortcut feature, would be absolutely nice.

Though, setting that aside, I'm from Philippines with very poor internet and each quest for me takes 10 seconds to do on my 7 year old laptop. (Granted, it's a gaming laptop so it's kinda fast but, yeah.) Just open the items in another tab, buy, close tabs and finish, rinse and repeat. I only take 30 minutes without GA (Blue Bldg. and 17~20 Battle Quests done included.) I take an hour with the GA because Quentin really wants to make it hard for me to do their quests + sighing every time I have to see inflated holiday items.

tbh it sounds like there's some sort of issue if pages really take that long to load. standard broadband internet starts at 25mbps which should be plenty to handle subeta's content so... quests really don't take longer than 10-20 seconds for me, usually less when things are functioning at max capacity.
