I found them; they're in Quentin's quest shop! There's matching sashes as well

The forums have always been slower than a live chat, if you want a faster paced version you can always turn on the Shoutbox (you can add the shoutbox widget where you customise your dashboard here)

There is also the new features of forumgroup private forums, so some activity is within certain groups (akin to cults of old)
