Hi Ive managed to fluke a few wins but I still dont quite understand how to play it is there a guide in these forums?

The best advice I've heard for the game is to concentrate on the lock and for the most part ignore the guardian.

Yes, the lock is the one you need to defeat. This game does take some time, like Subeku and Tiles does, to finish.
