this is a weird issue and kind of hard to explain, but i'll try my best. starting a few weeks ago, every so often my cursor will get "stuck" in whatever mode it was last in. it seems to occur when i open a link in a new tab, and subeta is the only site i'm seeing this on. i use google chrome on a mac, if that makes any difference.
by "stuck" i mean if i hover over a link or button, my cursor will not change to its click state until AFTER i click, and the link will not change its appearance as it usually would (for instance, changing color or gaining an underline). the cursor will remain in its click state until i click somewhere that is not a link, and will stay in its non-click state until i click another link, and so on. if i mouse over something with a hover feature such as an item or a link on the navigation bar, the hover will not appear unless i click - but in the case of navigation, for instance, i'll hover over "interact" but no hover menu will appear until i click on "interact," at which point the menu drops down but only for a second before i'm directed to the forums page.
weird, right?? it's almost like the site is trying to read my mouse inputs as tap inputs, like it would on mobile where there is no hover state. i'm actually able to get out of this state by hovering over the browser toolbar to return the cursor to working properly again (but i do have to do this for each new tab, even if i've opened several at once). still, it's a bizarre issue that i haven't encountered on any other site, which leads me to believe there is something in subeta's code relating to click/tap inputs that is making this act strange.
I think I may be getting this issue as well? I will be doing quests, click on Buy and it'll highlight the box but not actually click. I'll have to click again for it to work, half the time I don't see it until I've went back to the quest page to turn the items in to get an error.
:/ I'm getting this while questing too! Same issue as [user=blackwolf_2009] - I click the "buy" button and it doesn't register, the button just gets a little highlighted blue border around it. It's making questing very annoying.
Win7, Firefox Quantum 68.0.1
[edit]I'll be keeping closer track on where this pops up during the day. So far it happens:
It seems to be only when buying from user shops? I haven't noticed it when buying from your own shop, or when buying from main shops. Though the main shop purchases tend to be laggy & take a while to go through, and quickstock is the champion of lagginess when you're moving lots of items.
Ditto. It drives me nuts! I just want to quick buy everything and I really thought it's MY mouse issue. I'm glad it's not just me.

I've been experiencing clicking the buy button and the button itself just highlighting and not clicking and going through with the purchase... probably since the shop search was revamped to have these kinds of buttons? lol
But here lately what I've been experiencing most is when I first come to subeta and I try to click on my events tab on the dashboard so I can see my pings and nothing happens. I click events over and over and over and it will never open. This time I navigated to a new page and clicked events and it opened.
No idea if that happens to anyone else or just me but it's happened to me multiple times the past couple days.
Also, sometimes when I try to post something on the forums, it just refreshes the page and does not post.
ETA: Firefox quantum 68.0.1 on windows 7
I've been experiencing a variety of weird little quirks around site for the last few days. Having to click the 'buy' button twice (sometimes more) to get it to go through is only one.
Sometimes when I go to quickstock my items, clicking the 'all' button in any column just refreshes the page. Sometimes takes several goes before it will actually select the items.
The weapons preselection in battling runs a couple of seconds slow, both on the pre-battle page and on the first round of the battle itself. I'm always running into errors because I'm so used to not having to wait for it.
Occasionally when I look up an item on the shop search, the page will visibly "enlarge" itself slightly. Really, I think it starts out slightly too small and then readjusts itself after half a second or so. It's quite disconcerting.
I've noticed these things happening on both Chrome and Firefox, so it's not just me or some browser issue.
Huh...I thought my mouse was dying. But then I realized it was only happening on Subeta and mostly on the user shop buy button. Though there have been a few other oddities.
The hover has also been stubborn to activate for me, sometimes I have to reload the page to make the hover appear.
I've also had the resizing issue mentioned, though to me it seemed to be "jumping" just a little bit. But after reading the above comment, I too think its just slightly resizing.
This has been happening for a few days now.

My user shop buy buttons have been acting up since at least yesterday, but I haven't personally noticed many other issues (though I haven't. done a whole lot lately so that's probably why)
I've had the issue with trying to minimize my widgets or opening my events not doing anything at all, but that's generally an issue with the page not having fully loaded yet for me. I noticed it today but I was on the news page, so I went to my inventory, which should load faster, and it worked fine after that.
I have had all the same issues as The pages don't completely load for me and that seems the reason for the quickstock issue andyway. Loopking at the lower status bar tells me it is waiting for images to load.
I am having the same issue with buying from shop search and trying to switch to my events tab like when I'm on mobile. I also have trouble with the drop downs as well (like commerce) when I'm on mobile.
Having the same issues with buying from shops also x_x
Having the issue off the page resizing itself, it offsets all buttons. Really hoping this is an issue and not some odd cosmetic thing. it's even more pronounced on mobile, i know that subeta isnt mobile friendly in the first place but it makes questing on the go pretty much impossible- constantly clicking on the wrong things as the page 'extends/swells'.
I'm experiencing most of the problems mentioned here as well, both on mobile and my laptop.
nods same here. I´m getting this while questing; especially when trying to buy from usershops. I have to click "buy" a couple of times ... the button color changes slightly but it doesn´t buy the item. Also quickstock is slow and the page doesn´t load properly most of the times.
The rest of the site is fine for me.
Oh thank goodness, I thought it was just me. It's made it such a pain to quest. Most of the time I have to click about 3 times or so to get a purchase.
Windows 7, newest FF.
Doesn't happen when my daughter uses Opera to access the site.
RIP Mom, I love & miss you more than you know. Tell Dede hi.

Hey guys, are you still seeing this happen? Is this on desktop or mobile?
I have the same issues with the user shop purchases (can't click "buy") and no descriptions when hovering over for me. Issues just started ... Timing's good! :(
It works fine on Safari, but not on my beloved FF.
This happens to me, and usually on Safari on my iPhone.
No, it happened today for the very first time on my Mac. Firefox newest version. I'm unable to click on the blue "buy" button, I can't delete notifications on the sidebar (I can click on the links there, though) and hover over doesn't work at all. Any ideas? It is nothing about my mouse/touchpad, the site is working fine on other browsers.
UPDATE 08/28/20: Just wanted to let you know that Firefox has made a small update and the issues are not bothering me for now. Thanks anyway for listening and caring! :)
