This is a seven week kpop event for the kbops group, but you don't need to know anything about kpop at all to enter. All you have to do is watch the music video and take inspiration from it~!

inspired by the grasshopper, i was kinda hoping for a more electronic beat and i loved the man at the beggining the ending took me by surprise
edit i realized bc of the lighting used in my HA My green wasn't really notiable, i used the mantis fashion arms bc to me it screamed grasshopper and i'd love to think of her having more insectoid features underneath

I really liked the beginning sequence when the grasshopper was introduced walking down the street. The little otter is supposed to represent the dapper ant guy.

I took inspiration from the girl at minute 2:13. I loved her outfit! and tried to despicted the background from minute 2:30 pd: I used the Spiritbound Apricot Dust again. I think I'll use it from now on all my entries lol

Sunny Hill is so underappreciated. So many great songs and MVs. Thought about taking inspiration from Kota (love her) for this, but ended up going with Seungah. She always stole my attention in the MV from the second she pops in at 1:52. Had to toss in a little crown on the HA for the set she's on with the huge crown behind her.
Finally doing something for these rainbow challenges has shown me just how many cosmetics there are on this website. It's insane and, honestly, a little overwhelming. Lol.

I went on a super roundabout journey. I started with an attempt at a straight copy of the guy's final outfit with the umbrella, but it wasn't close enough so I went back and made it look more like the 1:45 outfit mixed with the flared waist jacket, the other girl's pink hair and something similar to that marketplace... [sup]WHO KNOWS. Still getting over my cold. ;n; Yesterday i stared at someone for 10 seconds trying to answer a yes or no question. I have an essay due Monday and THANK GOD I reread the parts I wrote 2 days ago because wow they made no sense.[/sup]

I think this video was my favorite yet, the song was so catchy and the visuals were great! I especially loved the Grasshopper's first outfit so here's my entry:

Outfit Not Found My inspiration came from a lot of bits and pieces of the video. For the background, I was thinking about the bright, flashing colors and the mist. I added some plants (the cabbage and the green sleeves) because of that one part in the video with leaves and flowers on the wall. The hair and the black parts of the outfit are based off of the blond girl in the video. And I used gold as another main color, inspired by the golden jacket.

Aww thank you so much! I don't know how many changes I made to my entry till I got the final one. And I was still not 100% sure about it xD. It worth it al last. I really loved the aesthetic from this mv. And I can't wait next challenge with my fav color.
