let's try to breathe some life into these forums lads

i've got a couple like that one time i tried walking to the beach but ended up in a cemetery instead AND then got lost in said cemetery and had to use goole maps satellite view to find my way out

another time i was hungover af but also had to show up to a uni introduction lecture. so i was walkig towards the building but these jehovah's witnesses stopped me and gave me something and i grabbed it and figured i'd just throw it in the trash but uhhh they handed me a literal bible and i didn't wanna throw it away bc it felt disrespectful, but it was too late to go back home and leave it there so i basically attended this lecture carrying a bible in my hoodie pocket

and another time i walked by this girl collecting money for charity so i gave her some and she offered me a chocolate. i unwrapped it but, being an idiot, forgot i was chewing gum. i couldn't wrap it back up so i tried eting it while not swallowing my gum but i did swallow my gum and it was v unpleasant 0/10 do not reccmend

I work for a nonprofit which - among other things - distributes funds to other nonprofits in the area. Someone entered a gift into our system for a local golf-related nonprofit, and in the special instructions for their gift they started going on about how it was to help offset fees for the animal rescue team that showed up the day before because - and this is true - apparently the donor accidentally hit and injured an endangered pelican with their golf ball.

Once when I was younger, I had forgotten that a guy coming to fix our air conditioner was coming over, and I just saw a man walk buy and headed up our stairs. I thought it was my dad home from work early, and I ran so fast up those stairs and hugged him from behind. I was mortified. Sad to say I was like 12-13 at the time.

just last week at the Disney store in our mall, my dad was looking at the mugs I turn for moment then turn back and asked the man next to me if he found anything good only to find out it wasn't my dad. DX that old memory form the AC guy came back.. I'm 26 now.
