'k' is just an abbreviation for thousand. ^_^; 1k = 1,000.

It seems likely that that is what K means, but people from many countries with different counting systems do play here. I think it is better to ask if there's some question of number . You can click on their name from the Trade Center to get to their profile, and then you can click on the email button or make a comment.
