this happens to me all the time, from multiple shops/users - not just my own, but it's the example I have a screenshot of! the notification on the bottom i sent on Sunday at 6:36 AM, and the one on top i sent out ~5 minutes ago.
i don't know if this happens to others? i've never seen anyone else complain about it or mention it? but it drives me bananas and seeing my own two events next to each other just now finally inspired me to get to the bottom of whether or not this is an everyone issue or a just-me issue!
Could it be the same issue as this? Sidebar events show in incorrect category
The code makes an educated guess based on the words in your event, so... I'm guessing that the "these ones are still on the way" is a link to a forum post and that's why it's showing in that category?

i had no idea that was how events are categorized, but that absolutely sounds like it's the case! how chaotic that explains so, so much, thank you for the link & explanation!
Yeah, it's... not ideal haha, but it would require basically a mini revamp of the alerts system to fix it OTL
I have been brainstorming some less-intensive workarounds but I'm still investigating if anything will work, since I also don't wanna accidentally.. break alerts... hahaha.
Would you mind reposting your first post on the linked topic, just so we have the report there with the others? That way you'll also see any staff posts we make there with updates on this issue. Thank you so much <3
