I would like to have the chance to complete a set at a reduced price, for example, if I've purchased a couple of items, it would be nice to be able to buy the rest of the set at a later date, without those items in it, maybe thats a way around it?
And get the discount of course ;0)

That's the exact opposite of the reason there is a discount in the first place.
