So I've been a Twitch Streamer for a while, and am affiliated, but I've been on hiatus for a few months due to my living situation and internet. I've been in a bit of a depression and creative slump because of it, so I'm hoping to snap myself out of it by building myself up as a Youtuber. I'm already a content creator, I just need to figure out how to make non-Live content, and I don't want to be a gaming-only channel. I want to put out daily videos though (which means I'll also need to learn to edit my own videos), and the few ideas I already have are either over-done, or will get boring when done on a daily basis.
Current ideas:
[EDIT] As the last post in this topic was from 2019 and thus over two years old, I'm going to go ahead and lock this topic as any additional posting would be well past the 6 month necro limit at this point. [/EDIT]
So, take this with a grain of salt since I don’t really follow twitch. I follow 1 twitch and it’s because it’s opened by a rl friend of mine.
I like the idea of Pokémon Go or tourist videos though simply because I find videos exploring places I haven’t been to fairly interesting though.
Family friendly ideas could involve taking the kid outside to explore, learn, collect natural objects etc.
For example, you could go out with them and collect fallen sticks and leaves and then come back and use them in an art project or something :)

I personally always watch day in the life videos, just taking the viewer through a normal day of yours, I also really love reaction videos, those are usually pretty funny and might be easier to edit?
Daily videos are hard to keep up with. but some people manage since this (youtube) may be their only income.
You could also attempt following various guides - written ones for instance, but written by bloggers. Those in books or other guides are found in abundance on youtube. You could be cooking (should be interesting and yummy at the end), or doing other fun projects. If you fail, you could explain why you think you failed -bad instructions, not using the correct ingredients/tools/methods, and what you think should have been done better to improve the guide.
editing doesn't have to be something hard - the more you'll edit your videos, the easier it will become. ;) TRUST me on this one.
I really have to update my blog ObscureJourney and my review site BeingObscure. French speakers can read my reviews here.
