Hi! I've wanted to order a portrait of my mother and I as a gift while she is recovering in the hospital. It will also be a way for me to keep a trace of her as a souvenir. My mother's courage and determination to live on as she is experiencing terminal cancer is incredible and a source of inspiration to me every single days of my life.

Hi! I would be really honored to draw this portrait for you. I would be offering waist-up drawings, and I have samples of my Subeta-specific art here: 1, 2, 3

Those samples are on the more cartoony side of what I do, so here's a non-Subeta sample that leans a bit more realistic.

For one waist-up portrait of the two of you together, I would charge $75. That price covers the waist-up drawings and any decorative elements that you might want: an illustrated border, flowers, and/or a few hand-lettered words – kind of like this or this (both my samples), though for this portrait I would probably do lettering more in the style of this or this (not my samples). The quote also accounts for the fact that I would be working and stylizing from real photos of you and your mother to achieve good likenesses of you both.

In terms of timeline, I could get a sketch to you by the end of the week at the latest. Upon sketch approval and receipt of payment, I'd start the final, which wouldn't take that much longer.
