To get this achievement do I just have to get lucky when giving Mage amulets or am I missing something? Thank youuuu

yes, just get lucky once. Keep giving him amulets, eventually you'll get a tome. I usually store up many amulets and drop them all at once.

no misunderstanding. I can't remember the ratio, but I think its around 1 in 10, it does vary, so you could get 1 in 15, or 1 in 20. Shouldn't take many more.
