I'm wearing my "it actually looks a little like me" pride avatar. I just recently went on a purge of the unobtainable avatars in my outfits collection.., so many private CW's, grrr. Here's one that escaped deletion somehow Outfit Not Found

I don't let private CW's stop me from buying/selling as Subeta technically doesn't enforce any rules that come with them. They don't do anything about the culture though because it does bring in a lot of money. People spend hundreds to thousands on private cw's, whether it's to slot or to buy, and while I hate that kind of elitism, I understand why Subeta wouldn't shut that down. (Not that they couldn't.)

I remember someone uploading like, 20 different pairs of wings to the site and they were all private. All of them. I was furious because, at the time, they were the prettiest set of wings on site, but managed to grab quite a few from the pawn shop the following years. It's a pity that the site doesn't revamp older cw's because a lot of these "elite privates" don't age very well. (Someone called the following outfit "retro" and considering how long it took me to gather all the pieces, I died a little on the inside. XD) Private Outfit

As for your pride avie: I find it super bright, cute and rather clever (I can never work with just subeta only items) however, I would ex-nay the balloon or the hat, as neither seem to match very well. With the balloon, it's the art style; it doesn't fit with the background too much and such a setting is a bad environment for a balloon anyway. But on the other hand, it does match/tie into your shirt very well. Upon further inspection, it seems that the hat is the problem, as it's too dark to technically work with the rest of the outfit, but I don't blame you for going with it. You'd think this site would have a lot more blacklight/rainbow/spectrum wearables, given how the site was founded by a man of the LGBT community.

I really love your dark/gothic elf(?) one as well. I've always been into goth and she's exceptionally pretty. I can't really find a flaw with the design aside from the too bright and too contrasting blue within the background but since that's beyond your control, I'm not going to hold it against you. 10/10

In closing, thank you so much for those suggestions. I'll be honest, I just left the bow on because I didn't want to save this avatar without it ('less I forget it exists) and I just fell in love with the water glass effect when I tried it on, but it does look cleaner without either so I'll probably end up using yours over my own. I say probably because I do love the chaos the water glass creates and am quite torn at the moment. We'll see how I am next year when/if I can obtain all those items. (Pray for me.)

, Yeah, I was annoyed that the hat wasn't brighter, cause I love that sparkle hat fedora series. I toyed with the idea of using the blacklight filter to dull the balloon down a bit but I wasn't sure about it.Outfit Not Found The balloon is a symbol of a loved one lost to Aids (We release them at a midnight memorial service/retro disco party at our "gay" bar every year), so it's a keeper. The love bucket was more symbolic as well, and I didn't think it made the avie too cluttered.

I love that demoness! I don't see how she's "Retro" at all.

Perhaps we should suggest for its revamp and/or maybe a more, spectrum themed duplicate be made. The site, overall, needs to add much more rainbow wearables so why not start off with some bright, heavily saturated new additions?

Mm, balloon releases... I've decided to PM you about that as it's a bit of a hot topic. I am sorry for your loss, however, and hope you and your friends have a good time, regardless. I do think the darkening improves the look of the balloon greatly, as it now matches the environment and the shirt. I also agree with using the love bucket; serving both purposes nicely and I also agree that it's the right touch of magic/whimsy needed for such an avatar.

Thank you so much! I think they called it retro because most of the CW's are from 2016/2017. I am far behind the trends, it seems, but better to be behind than to be broke, which is what I would be if I kept spending as much as I did for these pngs.
