These belts are in the right place but they don't go with everything that needs a belt round the waist.

Yes please! More fancy belts in general would be nice. That waist area is calling out for decoration but sometimes you just can’t find something that matches that sits in the right place.

IMO the elegant masq belts work pretty good but yes, I would love more waist belts.

googling waist belt gives plenty pretty examples:

-Leather xXxXx

-Metal xXxX

-Fabric xXxX

The HA here is somewhat deformed and misperspectived chibification so I'm not sure where "the waist" is supposed to be. Is there a defined line that CW makers must observe?

I'm not opposed to belts they're fun and I'm wearing one now. But the location of them on the HA and the thickness on the HA and the names for all the 'generic cross the middle body bands of clothing" items varies quite a bit and it might be helpful to staff and the artists if you specified where you want them to be on the HA, the thickness you want, and what clothes you are having diffculty beltifying.

I provided two examples of belts in the right place. Other posters in this topic know what I mean by waist so I'm guessing the artists will as well. One poster even provided some examples of the kind of waist belts we could have.

CW makers can create any kind of belt they want because my suggestion is for non-CW items.

if you say so? I put on the items you mentioned in my wardrobe. I don't think those fashion belts fit in the same way on those models that aren't shaped like real people in the same place, nor is there an obvious place to me on our HA that they would match that. So I checked.

I then typed in "belt" and overlaid a number of different ones. I found some belts that already look like those suggested and many belts that fit where you want them. You are correct though this Suggestion is for staff and my confusion doesn't really matter if they get it, Perhaps they'll read your mind better than I can.

The reason I asked about CW makers isn't that I think the non-CW belts should match the CW belts, In particular I think CW standards are way too picky. I was wondering if there's an obvious site-standard that I didn't know about since you seemed so sure of what you wanted Based on my experimentation, and looking at non-belt-named items that nevertheless are middle of the HA bands of some kind, there are three different waistlines that are common (and a few really weird ones). I think you do want the middle waistline items?

If the artists need further clarification they can ask but I thought that providing two examples of waist belts would illustrate exactly what I'm suggesting.

The placing and angle are the relevant points. Artists are free to make waist belts the same width as the elegant masquerade belts along with some that are a bit wider and a bit narrower. We could have a variety.

CWs are irrelevant to this topic because CW makers can create any kind of belt they want.

huge support for this, i'm constantly digging around for a belt that'll work with a specific outfit only to find that every single one that might starts right at the top of the legs and not one pixel higher... more colors would be nice as well; the masquerade belts in particular would work in a lot more cases if they came in black or white, for example.
