I hope I'm posting this in the right sub-forum...

Anyways I just joined last night (May 19th, 2019). For some reason I can't complete the tutorial. It said to feed a red apple to my pet, so I opened my inventory in a new tab and fed the apple to Ekruteak. When I went to continue on with the tutorial it still kept on saying to feed the apple to my pet. I even refreshed the page a couple of times and it still said that I needed to feed the apple to my pet. And I clearly fed the apple to my pet. It disappeared from my inventory and if you look on Ekruteak's food eaten page, the apple is listed. I made a topic on the Help forums and they told me to make a ticket. So I made a ticket and they said to make a post here. If it helps with anything, I'm using Google Chrome as my internet browser. Thank you.

While you're waiting for someone to take a look at this, I'd suggest trying again with a different pet. If you don't want to create another pet, you can always adopt one from the Pound or another user and attempt to feed that pet a red apple.

I'm vague on new account restrictions, but I want to say you might not be able to abandon/adopt out the pet again right away if that's your plan. (Certainly if you adopt from another user, no matter what age your account, you can't adopt them out to someone else for 30 days.) However I'm really not sure if there's any sort of restriction on new accounts or not.

New users can't adopt for a month.

Can't adopt from anywhere, not even the pound?

Alright I just made a new pet (Saradomin). Thanks to a couple of kind users I got another red apple. Just fed it to him. He ate it, but it's still not working. Still can't finish the tutorial. RIP.

Thank you . I'll try again in a few hours. I ended up putting both of my pets in the resort so they're not hungry right now, but I just took out Saradomin to try again. I'm sure he'll be hungry in a bit.

Okay here's my step by step process. I'm using the tutorial page here:

It says I have to feed the red apple to my pet, so I click the inventory link on the page where it says Inventory. It opens my inventory in a new tab. I feed the red apple to saradomin. It says he's eaten it before.

saradomin says: "Thanks, I was really hungry!" saradomin's hunger is now 7/10.

I go back to the other tab with the tutorial in it and go to click the button to continue on with the tutorial... Nothing happens other than a blue box appearing asking whether I fed the apple to my pet.

Just tried it (after 10 yrs....) & it let me continue.

I just checked. It still wants me to feed the apple to my pet -_- . I used my last apple on sourpod and it's still not letting me continue even after refreshing a couple of time.

I don't mind not completing it if I don't need to for an achievement or anything tbh.

I'm trying to figure out why it won't let me move you forward. Ignore the red apples coming to you inventory, because I'm going to try to take you out of the system and redo the tutorial.

Well it didn't give me the option for the apple this time and sent me straight to playing with the ball. So I played with the ball with Ekruteak but it's doing the same thing that it did with the apple and not letting me continue....

pinging you for the above Is your pet's happiness at 10? Cause if the happiness is full it won't play with it.

Okay I think that's what the problem was this time. LOL. I still had the ball and played with saradomin with it. When I went back to the tutorial page it said that I finished with it. Thank you.
