From what I've heard, TC starts lagging after a while. Usually after 1500 items. I was planning on having a big, big TC for my pet

SCP Foundation: over 5K -if all are unique- OR 20K items -with duplicates-, I can't make up my mind, but each item is supposed to represent a SCP entrypage.

Is there any way to prevent lag for people who view my pet profile? I don't care if I get laggy when trying to re-arrange my own pet slots, but I do not want a lag for the ones who view my pet!

I haven't dipped my toes in the world of CSS, so there might be a secret I am not aware of. I am all ears. Thanks.

If you're concerned about lagging another user's viewing experience, I wouldn't even attempt 1,000 items in a pet treasure. Unfortunately there's nothing you can do otherwise on your end to prevent your pet's lookup from lagging someone else's computer. Someone's computer may be old, or they may be using mobile data on a phone which limits how much they can see regardless of treasure size.

Profile CSS can give the illusion of things being paginated like with

Eisen's treasure for example, but the 415 items in her treasure are still being loaded up at once. If subeta itself is having a bad day, all the items she has won't even load without a couple of refreshes.

None of this is to say you shouldn't go for a massive pet treasure! There are definitely large pet treasures out there that have stories to tell, and if SCP Foundation needs that many spaces then you should definitely go for it.

The best way to be happy with someone is to be happy alone. That way, company is a matter of choice and not a necessity.

Oh yeah, I don't want to impede someone's enjoyment. 5K items would be a tall order for some. I might have to place the treasure in multiple pets, and find a way to link it somehow.
