SOLVED, Thank you!

I've been away from the site for nearly 3 years, can someone tell me how to not feel like a noob and how to turn off the default eyes to a blank base so just the items I add show? I've tried everything in the wardrobe and searched all of the FAQs and can't figure this out. Lol
