Chocolate! Everyone loves chocolate, right!?
So recently, I've been building a chocolate treasure chest, and generally been familiarizing myself with chocolate treats available on site. It's been a very fun venture! All in all, we have a really good representation of chocolate on site. Yes, while other food groups should probably share in the love, I'm selfish, and want moar chocolate. :3
First things first, if you wish to get a feel for what edible chocolate items are on site, check out Chocolaterie's TC, which has ~95% of the 864 chocolate foods I've identified on site. [Pet=Chocolaterie] (The missing items are typically retired or rare, and currently my funds are better directed elsewhere.) (Though believe me, I will be throwing a number of items into the "back into circulation" board. It's frustrating how many retired candy shack and morostide confections are on my list...)
Now, you may be asking, what more could we possibly have on site?! Well don't you fret, chocolate is the gift that keeps on giving!
First off, I'd love to see more chocolate pets! [Item=Chocolate Malticorn] [Item=Chocolate cadogre] [Item=Chocolate tigrean] [Item=Chocolate feli] [Item=Chocolate chai] [Item=Chocolate Demi] [Item=Chocolate kerubi] [Item=Chocolate ghostly] [Item=Chocolate dragarth] [Item=dipped white Chocolate neela] [Item=milk Chocolate ontra] [Item=dark Chocolate xotl] We only have a select few species, and so many are missing out! Most of these are Candy Shack releases, but some, like the Chocolate Xotls, have been Morostide additions. This is [I]definitely[/I] the area that needs the most love. (Please please please make a chocolate Legeica.)
Next, the site is [I]seriously[/I] lacking in fudge.
There are some amazing sounding pastries that I've literally never heard of before now, such as the chocolate palmier, kringles, cream horn, pastry creams, and kolach. I mean, hell, anything made with chocolate puff pastry sounds amazing! (Because that's a thing too!)
I haven't even scratched the surface of chocolate candies, but there's always the candy chocolate rocks we'd eat as kids on April Fool's day.
Meanwhile, we a have a lack of mousse and ganache related foods! A lovely tempered chocolate goes great on [I]everything[/I]...
And custards and puddings? Great in chocolate flavor form! Just look up images for chocolate pots du creme- so delectable. Also I'd never heard of it, but Vla custard looks amazing.
There are a ton of cookies on site, but the Biskvi cookies look so tasty. I also found an oatmeal ball (typically made with chocolate) who's name is Havregrynskugle. Tell me you don't want that on site...
And let's not forget the many cakes I found that are lacking the Subetan love... I'm thinking we could add some Devil's Food and Death by Chocolate variant foods. There's also the molten chocolate cake - it's a staple of delicious things! Also could we get some mud cakes (Kladdkaka) that aren't literally made of mud? And do we not have any Boston Cream Pies? So so tasty! Some others that look amazing- dripping cakes, icebox cakes, Opera cakes, and the Gugelhupf sponge cake. (And no, Red Velvet doesn't count. No chocolate cake of mine has [I]vinegar[/I] in it! And having less cocoa powder is a travesty! )
And last but not least, in an entirely separate vein - chocolate can be used in savory dishes as well! Mole sauce is authentic Mexican, using chilis and chocolate to create a rich sauce for stewed meats and enchiladas. There are also a variety of chilis (beans, meats, etc) that use cocoa powder/chocolate in them. And don't forget the fancy dishes such as "pepper-crusted beef tenderloin with chocolate-port sauce" or "roasted carrots wth balsamic-bitter chocolate syrup." (These would've definitely been great for Masq. Alas.)
So many amazing options, and so little time.
Now, I know I missed Survival, but hopefully a lot of these could be incorporated into other areas of site. Candy Shack for one. Fantine's bakery for sure. Morostide naturally. Vesnali of course. (Or given the theme for Cash Shop battle challengers this year... Literal Death by Chocolate.)
Thanks for entertaining this unhealthy obsession. My dentist thanks you all! Have a chocolatey day!

(ノ´ヮ´)ノ*:・゚✧ big support, yes !!!
SAVOURY CHOCOLATE DISHES !! /sobs
(also ur post is giving me ideas for how to improve my own food suggestion post) (GNFDGD HOPE U DONT MIND IF I RUN W/ IT)
[edit]
also oof i apparently have 492 chocolate items in my food gallery. (or well, items containing the word chocolate). i only have like, 7.7k items in my gallery altogether T^T. i dunno whether to be thankful we have so much chocolate onsite already, or sad that it isn't more LMAO
yes please!! i am 100% for more chocolate foods :D
I would LOVE to have a line of different fudge flavors 😍 Specifically chocolate peanut butter fudge please.
Love these suggestions.
We are missing Chocolate Soda (diet and regular) and Champurrado (a drink mixed with corn flour and flowers, possibly the original chocolate food).
thank you, I appear to have mispelled it in my search. How about some fancy drinking chocolate pots to make up for it?
There are some picture examples near the bottom of this article here
No prob. Me, I'd rather have edibles tbh. As beautiful and detailed as the pots are, I cannot cronch them. My teeth would be sad.
Now, instant champurrado/champorado, as said... Yes.
Also! Chocolate rice pudding & chocolate semolina pudding. Double chocolate oatmeal. Chocolate fondue.
Oh my goodness! I had no idea about Champurrado! I've never heard of it. Just added it to Choco's TC though.
See, it's chocolate things like that that I miss. It's not in the name or description, but it's an item that has a known chocolate ingredient.
And all your ideas are amazing! I was sad to see no chocolate fruits added to the Ikumoradeekanox tree today.
The fruit of theobroma cacao is very pretty and it looks like it comes directly out of the trunk of the tree. That's an Iku fruit if there ever was.
