I just defeated Kain for the 5th time, and he dropped Insektdammerung. I see that it's a Tier 10 weapon, but it's too recent to be listed on the weapon guide thread I have bookmarked, so I don't know if it would be an upgrade or a downgrade from my current weapons (my main set is Soma Tablets, Intricate Energized Helmet, Volatile Energized Mecha, Swashbuckle, Paintbrush Blades, Unstable Sample Syringe, Phoenix Quill and Rainbow Vortex.

If you already have the weapon you should be able to see the stats so I don’t understand your question. You see the stats when you go to put in in your armory and when it’s already in the armory. You should be able to see the number of mod slots it has when you go to modify it. If your talking about things like special curses or blessings, you can battle with it and see?

I am talking about special curses and blessings, yes, and also things like low-to-high end of damage done or icons blocked. These things are really hard for me to keep track of when I'm in battle, because they fall into a category of information I don't process well, so it's very helpful for me when somebody who's better at that sort of thing has done the testing and written up the statistics, like in the Weapon Guide thread.

A majority of the time I recommend weapons to people, it is because they don’t have the weapons and want to know which are the worthwhile investments. If you won the weapon, you got it for free, so it doesn’t hurt to just try it? If you put it in your armory, you will see the range of damage it does and what it blocks.

As for blesses and curses, I believe it has none but I would have to test it again and find out. I have better weapons in my armory so I don’t personally use it.

The other part about battling is having the right strategy, paying attention to what damage an opponent does and what they block is important. You can have the best weapons in the game and still lose if you don’t know when to use them.
