I train all my pets and click very quickly through the page. It used to be that when the stat dropdown menu was blank, it would just error and you could train them on the next go around. Not anymore. It will "put your pet in for a lesson of ___?" And they will gain no stat points when it completes even though you paid for it. I triple checked to make sure.

Not a gigantic deal, just takes me more time to check every dropdown, but some users may not know this is happening.

Forcing dropdowns to fill every time would be optimal, but going back to the errors would also be fine so people who don't know about the bug don't waste sp. Thanks staff!

@ foxtrot One question: are you using Chrome?

[edit]nvm, tested and confirmed in Chrome. I can put a pet into training for a nonexistent stat.

One thing I've noticed with Chrome while training my own pets: if you finish training a pet, then hit the Back button on the "pet gained X stats" page and go to put them back into training, the dropdown is blank. Happens both on desktop & mobile.

Making the site throw an error if you don't select a course, or fixing the blank dropdown (if it's even fixable and not a browser-based thing) would both be great.

I normally use Firefox, but also tried explorer (don't have chrome atm). So seems like the 3 major browsers have the issue. I've also experienced the back button doing that as well!

And yeah, it used to (like since I joined) error every time there was an empty dropdown in Firefox so I'd be totally fine if staff can't do the forced stat and it just went back to that :D

That's odd. I haven't experienced it in Firefox on desktop. o.o I've mass-trained pets with very little issue, but when I tried it in Chrome on my phone with the method described above - blank dropdowns aplenty.

I'll have to test it later when my two pets finish training, but yeah. Definitely needs a warning for training a blank stat. I don't want to test if you can put a pet into autotraining for a blank stat, but if you can... Eeeesh.

If it helps, I click on as many pets as I can before the training page pops up? Depends on internet speed and lag, sometimes I can get 2-3 at a time, sometimes almost half the page. During events I can almost get the entire page in one go lol Same with actually training in a stat which is what makes the blank dropdown thing a pain (for me anyway).

So... I have successfully put my pet into autotraining a blank stat. :x Autotraining doesn't tell you what stat you're training in, which is really odd and not very helpful. I put another of my pets in as a control just to double-check that.

I did try to replicate the bug in the latest Firefox (66.0.3) and I couldn't do it.

I'm curious to see if it also does not yield a stat gain. When it's blank on normal training I'm not getting any points.

Heads-up: would it be possible to add the type of stat being trained in autotraining to the message? Right now it just says "PETNAME has 8 classes left! The autotraining session will be finished around 9:41 PM today." So I don't actually know if the pet I put into autotraining along with my control pet is training a blank stat, or not.
