Ohohohoho first customer~ Hullo~

Since you're asking, why not both? Here's some ideas for each of the items. Private Outfit [Spoiler=Bottled Yunlong Breath] There are two challenges with the forum shop background: it uses a rather odd shade of yellow, and the ground's dark blue clashes unpleasantly with the yellow-green scenery. I eliminated most of the second problem with a stencil that covered the ground, and hinted at the blue-ness with the sbq hazel eyes. Delish Sharp, Ambition, and Dignity were slightly too saturated, but Delish Lyb and Ra well-approximated the yellow tones of the background. [/spoiler]

Private Outfit [Spoiler=Sunset Sea Stones] The challenge here is the rainbow coloring, which is hard to match. Sticking to a few of its colors draws too much attention to the colors you don't repeat throughout the outfit. But using all of the colors makes the outfit too busy. So for accents, I went to black and white. The sea stones have a beach-y feel, and the rest of the avatar came together from this aesthetic. [/spoiler]

That is a lovely CW! And no other CW's will be a fun challenge--the shawl uses a shade of gold that site items usually don't have--it's very rosy and warm, and I had fun trying to match the coloring. Here's my favorite of many designs, with more outfit options (sans background and dark tint) in the spoilers below. Private Outfit Generally, in purchasing, good color and aesthetic matches includ sbq lines (Kore Bloom, Antique Rose), lots of vesnali items (for the flower accents) and steamworks menagerie items (for the pale-gold accents.) Deceptively Useless Piano Key conceals the subtle color discrepencies between these items.

i'd love some help making a pretty (non-cw) outfit to go with !! the issue i've generally had is getting eyes to fit right, if that makes sense!

That makes perfect sense! I have a lot of issues with onsite makeup--it's always fun matching them to eyes because those features can be positioned so differently from wearable to wearable.

This would be my first time using a makeup CW, though, so I'd like a bit more info from you. Do you have a general aesthetic/item you'd like for me to use on the rest of the body? The makeup defines the face, but not the outfit as much, so I want to make sure I come up with something you'd wear :)

oops, sorry for not specifying about the outfit! if possible, i'd like to be on the more pink/mauve side to match the blush and have a springtime vibe? the makeup item kind of gives me romantic vibes and i kind of want an outfit to match if possible!

Some alternative outfits (including more casual options) are in the spoiler) On matching the pallet: this makeup tends to be positioned lower on the face than most site items, so the challenge is finding an eye set that doesn't look like they're rolling backwards into the head when matched with this item. For this purpose, Junko Enveloped eyes are the best fit, though Argo Blackout Liquid Liner, Bottled Summer Dream Contacts, and the sbq surf eyes also work. Here's my favorite design for the and the : Private Outfit

Budget-wise, the outfit should cost you <15mil outside the CW's. None of the items are more than 2mil, except for Avocado and Honey Face Mask, which you can get for <5mil by buying raffle tickets, or posting often on forum topics like this one ;)

The biggest challenge I faced here was making sure the don't blend into the background of , so I tried a few frame and overlay options you can see in the spoilers below, along with one bonus outfit from my older closet.

As for the Pinwheel Strands and Devoted Staff, I'll leave you with another spoiler here of complete and incomplete outfits I've made in the past that use a similar color scheme/aesthetic. In general, the delish gentle/devoted, Verdi Sidhe, and Junko Enveloped clothing lines will be a good match for those two items.
