There are so many pets, items, clothing etc that could do with a revamp, and there are plenty of great suggestions in ">this thread for recolours.

There is a whole thread dedicated to pet revamps and a whole thread for other revamp requests.

I don't think we get revamps often enough.

This seems like a good idea, especially for certain retired items being given out by the Rift, and therefore becoming more noticed than before. Some NPCs could also use a revamp (Compare Celesse and Iltallo, the Coda Caves NPCs, Celesse really needs an update), and it would be a good chance to revamp some pets too.

Not sure how the Cash Shop and Quest Shop items and any other theme items would fit into it, though. Maybe if they're somehow a throwback or reference?

I agree. Either June or July would be the perfect months for such a theme.

I agree as well. Outdated clothing items still have to be searched through in the wardrobe if we're looking for things we don't own.

I'd love a revamp month (didn't they do one before tho), for the monthly collection and quest shop they could go for a theme like nostalgia or renewal.

I think there was a recolour month, but I don't see why they couldn't do one every year. :)

I've said this before on a different topic, but if you want the site to make a bit more money - revamp super old donation presents every month. Revamp & finish splitting old costume trunks! Give people a reason to buy and use those old CS items!

Looking at the sheer amount of outdated items alone, one month every year for revamps and revamps only would be amazing. I would be down for having a week of every month dedicated to various revamps, but I understand that the art team is tiny and that our holidays are plentiful. :P Still, every little bit would help! One month during the lull period would be great for shining a spotlight on items, pets and features that otherwise get overlooked. Maybe let us colour some items or pets? That might have some contest potential.

Is it just me or have some of the retired items being given out by the Rift been revamped? Or were they already revamped before the Rift daily was introduced?

This revamping thing is honestly one of my least favourite things about Subeta because even if most people agree that the item looks 1000% better there are probably at least a couple people that liked it the way it was and can't use it the way they did any more.

(I am terrified that the base eyes I use will be revamped.)

Agreed! I think the old CS trunks could really do with some help. I miss the themed costume items, costume is definitely my aesthetic. :P

Yay! I agree a month without any new items would annoy people, but glad you're incorporating revamps into the theme. I just mainly wanted more recolours and revamps in general..

I totally get that. I have pets that got revamped and I didn't like the new look. But there are definitely older items we can all agree are terrible and no one uses (thick line art, poor shading etc).

Since many of my favourite items are from the costume trunks, hearing that there are plans for them makes me unhappy. Why not just release new versions of old items as new items so that people can choose.

(I've never forgiven the person who decided that it would be a good idea to turn one of my Keith plushies into a Maybel plushie I'd never have bought. I've worked in medical research hospitals and universities most of my life and I'm not a fan of that character.)

Why one month, why not the year of the revamps?

I doubt people would be okay with not getting new items for an entire year in favor of revamps

If it means culling all of the 2005 art around the site, most people would agree that it's a good sacrifice.

I don't think that revamps really need to be restricted to a month, just that we get more more often throughout the year would be cool. But it's just that there are so many requests already that I think a dedicated month would also be great. :)
