Does anyone know if picking the more expensive option from the hustler gives higher chances of a more valuable item? Or are they all the same? I've always wondered :0

I haven't been able to figure it out. My feeling (and this is not certain), is that choosing the more expensive boxes means the hustler gives you nothing less often. That's the main difference I've noticed.
