I would find it really helpful to be able to search in my collections. Especially when there is a current event shop selling plushies or beanbags, I want to know if I already own this plushie or beanbag before I buy it. At the Moment I have so shuffle through the pages of my collection and try to find the item. It would be easier if I could just enter the name of the item into a search field and it states if I own this particular item. If the search bar isn't good enough I could also imagine having a visual in the shops on the items showing me if I own that item already or not.

If you mean just event shops, like now Steamworks and Lounge, you have Account search on hover on items. It'll tell you if you already have the item. When it comes to normal restocking shops, you just need account search open in another tab and search items there, it does exactly the thing you ask for.
