I usually buy the GA in monthly increments, but for the last month I've been buying it per week because I keep expecting to get busy and I don't want it to go to waste. (I actually do have a lot to do, but procrastination ftw, and I have been participating in a lot of site events that I've been missing for years.) Even though I know weekly GAs are the most expensive (in terms of CSC/day), I feel like I would waste more money buying a longer GA and then missing chunks of it. IANA mathematician, though.

How about you? Do you buy GAs that last a long time - months, or even a year? Do you just buy a week or month here and there as you have time? What're your strategies?

I don't really have much to do with the CSC I earn from Morty Cards rn so when I get to ~500 I just go buy myself a new one month GA and they build up over time. I think I'm up to just over 2 months now, and I've had one for 3-ish? I may have time to save up for a 2 month and get that sweet discount and then build up from there maybe.

i've actually never rly bought a gold acc, but i've been using the loyalty totems, and that gives you 3 months :3

It depends on how active I am at the time. Right now I have a subscription again, but when I feel myself getting preoccupied with the real world I cancel it and buy in weekly or monthly increments.

I usually buy the 2-month GA because its the best deal, especially if you buy it during the last 3 days of the old one is active. I also always use my loyalty box for the 3 month GA.

When I am SO focused on taking RL one day at a time, then I take my Subeta-life about one month at a time, 'cause let's be honest: I'd rather be present here than there. ...LOL! ❤️

If I don't have a specific plan for it otherwise, I will often use my loyalty box for the 3mo GA. Due to seasonal changes and depression issues, I'm usually getting back into Subeta and fairly active around the time that rolls around each year (Aug/Sept). I know Morostide is around the corner (fav holiday) and I usually manage to stay active through Fireside + Luminaire + New Years, depending.

It's worth the discount to me because I know I cannot abide a blue user icon whenever I am active? It just doesn't feel like me. ❤️ GA perks! ;x And I sub to the extra CSC per month. That's def worth it to me.

I don't know that there is a right or wrong to how you determine which to do/buy right now. For me personally, I don't consider one week GAs terribly worthwhile. That's just me, though.

You actually purchase CSC with your RL $$$ -- not with sP -- is that correct? Or not? Hard to tell. Do you sub? That makes a huge difference in how you address the matter!

If you're using sP, I cannot really weigh in on the pros/cons or compare, as I don't use sP to buy CSC. I'm not a huge sP earner/saver, I get it as I need it and therefore generally spend it, so I cannot imagine spending all that sP on CSC/GAs. It wouldn't feel worth it to me based on how I play the game that is Subeta?

If you do buy GAs with money, and you're concerned for maximum usability, maybe you would benefit MORE from [b[Subscribe + Save[/b] to 500 CSC per month rather than buying or subbing a GA per month and weekly when you're not sure you'll be around. There is a small discount d/t subbing, if you don't do that already, which is great. And that way, you can use that to buy a week OR month of GA if/when you're anticipating being active (like now during site events/holidays is best to have them longer-term 'cause you're likely to hang around more than a week) or inactive (because of life outside). Then otherwise you can use that CSC as it accumulates for other things when you don't need a GA at all or again on GAs short-or-long when you return to being more active and such.

I haven't had enough coffee yet today. ❤️ Really, since it sounds like your schedule is so uncertain re: your time on Subeta, I don't know that it would be worthwhile for you to target a strategy on your GA spending at the moment. Especially if you're normally, consistently active. The cost-to-savings ratio would probably be negligible at best... And for me (also nodda mathematician) not worth the headache?

If you cannot accurately anticipate activity in real life, you cannot accurately anticipate activity in Subeta-life... yeh?

I like how you get GAs because you feel weird with a blue icon. :P That is probably not what most people think of.

For me personally, I think I normally buy GAs with CSC - either earned through quests or bought. I try to only buy on bonus weekends so I can get the extra fluff, and I get a large amount so I can get extra there too. I don't think a subscription would make sense for me, and I usually use CSC to get more sP - not the other way around. :)

I tend to buy monthly, usually on the bonus weekend (so buy CSC, then turn around and spend it on a GA). I’ve been using a loyalty box recently though, but I think it’s due to run out sometime in April- then back to the monthly grind!

I buy 9 months and then use my loyalty box for the last 3. That way it's there when I'm active and I don't worry too much if I go a few weeks or whatever where I'm less active because I have it all year.

I'm going on a month by month basis, i've started playing again recently but I don't know how long i'll be playing for again. I usually drop in and out every few months.

I used to go month by month. I got it through perks and never through donating, then finally caved! This past time, I got the three month token because I have a big girl job finally!!
