I have been playing around with wanting to make CWs for awhile now. The current contest has convinced me to go for it. I I have several concepts in mind - and i'm overall very happy with how they are turning out.

But...

I would love some tips on getting that true subeta finalized look. Any tips or tutorials out there to help with that ??

On the main forum page for cws, you'll find a lot of useful threads pinned right at the top. This especially is a very useful threat that will point you to a lot of place that can help you. click here.

GL joining in the contest!

May I ask you which program did you used for painting? I have some ideas for CWs and wanted to start too, but I don't have photoshop.

I used Photoshop. I'm very familiar with it (I'm a graphic designer outside of subeta as well)

I can tell you that Photoshop has an elements program great for paining. My husband uses it since he is less of a Photoshop user than I am but still enjoys painting. Instead of a monthly cost, it's a $100 one time fee.

Unfortunately I don't have any ideas for free programs except for GIMP which I've heard a lot of mixed reviews on. It would be worth a shot tho if you want to just try it out!

Ahh damn, thought some poor soul is using like me the cheap programs. D: I use Sketchbook and ArtRage pro. Maybe I just have to try it with them though. At least it's practise
