When you click on the customize weapons button, it lets you make changes to your set for the next battle that you participate in. It would be nice if these changes could be saved instead of being discarded at the end of the battle. It would also be nice to be able to set this to be your current default set as well. After 1-2 iterations of experimenting with sets, I almost always want to save the changes for the next 30+ battles i'm going to be doing against that opponent, but it really does break the flow of things to back out to the armory, make the changes and then save.
