Hiya. I apologize if this is not the right location for this question; I don't venture over here very often so I'm a bit out of my depth.

I have been thinking about offering my services as a storyteller or poem writer. Nothing major; just like a day-in-the-life sketch or a little eight-line poem or something to add to a pet's profile. There'd be a price, but it'd be small until I felt like my skills had advanced enough to earn a higher price.

I'm a little confused as to where I would offer such services though. Do I do it here, in the Profile & Graphics Market? Or would it better be fitted in the Art Market?

Also, does anyone know how popular such a service would be? If it's not something people will want, then I can just skip it.

I'd also like to know, hope you don't mind if I follow (:

Well I've had a bit of inquiry into my services, but no answer thus far as to where to set up shop. I'm kinda thinking I should have put this in the help section, but I didn't realize it existed at the time. You're welcome to wait with me for answers. :)

If you are selling for a pet profile...I have seen users set up a shop and ask in the pet profiles subforum.

I'm not sure that's the same thing - I'm not interested in selling complete profiles or coding or even a full blown-out story. It's more...supplementary.

On the other hand, I expect that they would end up on pet profiles, but I imagine so does the stuff in the Art Market. And stories kind of straddle the line between profile and art, imo.

Any time I see someone offering writing services, or someone looking for a writer, it's under the Pet Profiles section of the Profiles & Graphics Market, so that might be your best bet. I don't think I've ever seen any in the Art Market, but I've seen several looking for threads in Pet Profiles for stories.
