I signed up for Grosseries infection around 1am on Thursday, was too tired to ask for bites then forgot facepalm BUT shouldn't I have gotten infected before the end of Survival anyway? It still was almost 48 hours waiting to get infected so I thought I should have made it?

You will get infected even if survival has ended. Give it a few more days, getting infected without bites is super slow.

I signed up for an old strain on either 4th or 5th, and didn't bother to get bit. I still haven't seemed to be infected yet. I don't mind the wait though as long as I will get infected at some point.
