For weeks I have been seeing the same avatar on pink_dolphin's and Lorax's profile page. When I looked at the items that show under the avatar they are completely different. I can see their present avatar on my friend's list on the right hand side of my page however. So far I have only discovered the problem for those two friends. They see them properly, so it's my problem. Thank you for your help.
