I know I'm not the only one who added tons of items to my wishlist and have so many pages of unsorted items that manually organizing them feels like a huge chore.
Suggestion: Add premade categories for the most common groups/types of items, like Cash Shop, Collection Item, Artifact, etc.
I'm not sure how this would work? It would almost have to be optional since not everyone organizes their WL the same way, and it wouldn't really save any time unless those specific rarities of items (or however it was split up) went automaticaly into the right category, which seems like something that would probably be a nightmare to code and also add a bunch of lag to adding things to your WL in general, which already gets laggy enough to add duplicates sometimes :L
No support. We can make custom categories that we like, forcing us to have premade categories is pointless because most people don’t separate they’re categories like you described and likely wouldn’t use that feature.
If you want things in a certain category you can easily set a category to default and then add the items you want to that category.
This seems like a lot of work for something few people would use.
That... really feels like too much programming fuss over something that'll take you an hour at max to sort out yourself, and 5 minutes of effort every so often to keep it nicely organized.
No support.
re: 's idea below about better filtering options and not premade category sorting: That, I'd like. That could actually be useful, but the problem is that the wishlist layout is already on the chunky side, so where do you squeeze that in? Unless you get rid of the whole "Sorting By:" navbar in the wishlist and replaced it with the filter & dropdowns that we have in the vault.
It sounds like what you want is actually rarity filtering, like the Vaults already have? That could be useful, especially if it can be used to filter items by rarity in a user created category (for example, to filter a "Food" WL category to find Holiday rarity items).
I'd love anything that can do all that tedious work for me! Sort by item type beanbag, plushie, book, wearable, and food would be totally fine with me. Idk how it would work either but it would be used and appreciated.
No one said anything about forcing people to organize their stuff in premade categories. It'd be an optional thing, for those who don't have time nor energy to organize hundreds of items in custom categories.
I'm not sure I'm picturing this correctly.
Are you suggesting that when you click on the +wishlist, an item should go into a site made category based on some specific criteria (item type, rarity, whatever) rather than the default category it uses now? And how will this fix your currently existing WL?
OR
Are you suggesting some kind of quickstock-like system for items already in the default wishlist category to put them into site made categories?

The quickstock-like option. I'm not that good at expressing myself, so thank you for putting it into words xD
Okay, that makes a little more sense :).
A long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away) there used to be a wishlist feature that I loved. It was a text-based version of the WL with radial buttons across from each item with your categories across the top. Sort of like this:
______________plushies___achieve____wears Weird item name .button....... button....... button Next item name .button....... button....... button Third item name .button....... button....... button Other item name .button....... button....... button
Then you just clicked the button to put it in your choice of category and at the end there was an "update" button that processed it all at once. I would love to see that return! Its still a little more work that you're talking about, but its a lot more useful to everyone.

That sounds intriguing :o I'd like to give it a try, if only to test and see how it works.
It was a well hidden little feature that most people never found, I think. When it disappeared no one complained. And yet people keep making suggestions of creating a similar feature.

If they do bring it back, I hope it's not so hidden anymore xD I'd definitely use it
Wishlist suggestions lists suggestions for the wishlist that has been viewed and responded by staff. If you are suggesting it to be more like a quick stock where you can mass select where things go then that is a suggestion already listed in the above topic.
