I made a Basalt Blast scroll and it created two of them. To make sure I actually had 2 I did put on into my scroll library and use it. I still have the other one in my inventory.

Should I just delete the extra one?

If there was a glitch that created an extra scroll then yes you can go ahead and delete the extra!
