Can we please revisit this suggestion? This achievement still requires the possession of nine copies of the same item and it's still ridiculous. It's even worse now that the set has long been retired. There is no practical reason to own multiple copies of this tiny transformable item (it's not like you could even wear them all and see them at the same time). The entire reason transformable items exist is so that owning multiples is unnecessary, and here we have this silly achievement that negates that.

Edit 2/17/21: Ok, I finally bought the stupid things and got the achievement and I'm incredibly annoyed by the whole thing. This should still be changed.

I've always agreed with this.

They could pick one. The could remove it completely. Or if you want to get complex you can have all the other items as wardrobe items + the packet in your inventory. Or for that matter have all of it in your inventory instead of wardrobe.

There are many ways this could be done that actually make sense.

Simply have the original ThistleThief Will-U Packet of Gauges version. It's the one sold at SubQ, so its the only version who should be required.

I agree with this so much! This is the only Subeautique wardrobe achievement that I have thought about trying to borrow instead of trying to acquire it by myself because I think it is just ridiculous.

Massive support. This is the only achievement with this kind of requirement and its absurdity keeps most from even attempting. It's unobtainable and downright ridiculous.

Support, especially since it's a retired set.

If there's any potential friction/issue about people having already managed that achievement (IE fairness), the original achievement could be archived and then recreated with only one gauge set required.

No Support. It is still possible to get this Achievement, all y'all just don't wanna. Nobody needs to get all the Achievements. Not all Achievements have to be easy or made easier.

I personally have paid more than the current cost of nine copies of this item to complete a set for Achievement. The RIFT is allowing retired items to filter into Subeta, and I think Major Drills does give retired Subeautique items too. It's not like Neopets where if you weren't there and already screamingly wealthy and privileged at the time of release you can never ever get it.

Subeautique and related Achievements are meant to be exclusive and hard to get. One would have one's favorite shoe in all the colors or all the fave colors if they could be afforded and storage for them exists somehow. A true collector should have all the items in a fashionable set. Because to not have one item implies that you just couldn't afford it or just weren't fashionable enough or just didn't work hard enough to get them all. What would people who actually are chic think? Oh noes. This will not do!

If what it takes to get this Achievement changes by so much as Suggested then the Achievement that exists should be retired and a new one be created. Because the amount of effort needed to get each of them are not the same.

So I was just looking at the price of these and they are a lot cheaper than they used to be so I can kind of see the point to just leaving it as it is so it seems I am actually neutral now. About a year or so ago they were like 40 mill and at that price I was all for just having to only have the one set but it seems that maybe they are circulating a little better now.

I never said "all achievements should be easy", that was not my argument at all and I agree with you there. This isn't about making things easy; this is about making things logical. It is illogical to encourage us to buy multiple copies of an item there is no practical purpose to own multiple copies of. If you own one, you effectively own them all as far as the wardrobe is concerned.

Again, if you have one copy of a transformable item, you effectively own every item that it transforms into. Also, this is beside the point, but I really don't care if anyone thinks I'm fashionable lol.

Because I appreciate fairness, I might possibly be able to be convinced of this point, but I'm not sure yet. Item values change all the time on Subeta with no compensation offered, such as when super-inflated retired items get re-released. Sucks if you saved up for weeks and bought the thing the day before the price dropped, but that's just how it is sometimes. Sucks if you spent a fortune on an achievement and the next day it costs less to earn it. It definitely wouldn't be the first time.

I don't really agree with retiring this and making a "new" one with a single gauge.

I have the achievement as is and don't care if it gets changed. Mind you, I admit that once I got the entire set (with a single gauge) I did borrow all the rest of the gauges, so maybe I have less skin in the game than someone who bought them all. But back in the day before they revamped the achievements, it was entirely possible to get an achievement like this without buying them all - you just needed one, and then transform it again and again until they were all listed.

I very much support this suggestion. I lend out the set and it's ridiculous for the achievement to require nine copies of one item. It didn't stock in the Subeautique that way, making it very difficult for people to obtain all of those copies. I agree that it does need to be changed to require only one of the gauge colors.

100% support for changing the achievement. The SubQ achievements are meant to show that you collected the whole set of items, right? Well, if one color of the gauges functions as all colors of the gauges, why should you need nine copies of a single item? You've effectively already collected the set just by having one in your wardrobe

Hey, I know this is an extremely old thread, but can we PLEASE revisit this? The item is wildly expensive, and the newer achievement for Vevi Kit only requires ONE COPY of the two transformable items.

Edited to add: To be clear, I already have the achievement, I think I spent ~20mil on it, I just wanted to point out that my frustration is in the lack of continuity between the transformable item achievements.
